"To me, debating is more than just a structured argument but an incredible opportunity to engage with a variety of intriguing issues and learn new skills. Debate has taught me so much about the world around me and has given me access to diverse perspectives that have definitely shaped who I am today. Through debate, I have learned and strengthened crucial skills like critical thinking and public speaking. It has definitely challenged and helped me grow intellectually, building my confidence and changing my mindset in the way I approach topics and issues."
