Diversity, equity & inclusion journal club

The diversity journal club for the School of Physics at the University of Melbourne!

The aim of this Journal Club is to provide a forum for discussions on topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion and things related to these topics, and we expect to hold discussions about once to twice a month around lunch time and it will be held on zoom/in person.

Before joining DEIJC please read our code of conduct.

This journal club models its format on the Diversity Journal Club at OSU that was spearheaded by Prof. Laura Lopez


If you have a book, article, something to watch or list that you would like to recommend, or a speaker to suggest, please feel free! If you have an action you would like to advertise or solicit collaborations for, or you want to brainstorm actionable items for our specific physics and astronomy context, or if you want to share ideas of how to contribute to the significant and sustained anti-racism and other -ism effort we need, please feel free to contact Katie if you have any other suggestions.
