The Washington Commanders have officially confirmed that their 2026 uniform reveal is coming on April 15. While the team is calling it a "new uniform" launch, it’s becoming very clear that this is actually a massive pivot back to the franchise's roots under the new ownership group.
The teaser video didn't just hint at the "Super Bowl Era", it leaned into it entirely. Passing by the Lombardi trophies and focusing on the championship history basically confirms what we’ve been waiting for: the white "Super Bowl Era" throwbacks from last season are becoming the permanent road look. This means the burgundy version is a lock for the new home look.
As for the black uniforms, they’re getting a total makeover. They were the most horrible part of the last set. Some may of noticed the team posting more graphics with the spears, well that is what I belive the black alternate will lean into.
The modern uniform crisis in D.C. is officially over. April 15 can't come soon enough.

The Tennessee Titans have unveiled a new set of uniforms and a redesigned logo, introducing a look that draws heavily from the franchise’s past while incorporating elements tied to Nashville’s identity.
The redesign marks a significant shift away from the team’s previous era, which was defined by a navy heavy color scheme and the well known “flaming thumbtack” logo. That design had been part of the team’s identity for decades and included strong references to Greek mythology and a stylized sword motif. The new look moves in a different direction and focuses on a cleaner and more retro inspired aesthetic.
At the center of the rebrand is a renewed focus on light blue, often referred to as Titans Blue or Columbia blue, which now serves as the primary color of the team’s uniform set. The shade is closely associated with the franchise’s history as the Houston Oilers and strongly reflects that era. Red accents and white remain key parts of the palette, while navy has been reduced to a smaller accent role.
The light blue home jersey features the wordmark “Titans” across the chest with white block numbers outlined in red. The white road jersey instead displays “Tennessee” across the chest with matching white block numbers outlined in red. Both jerseys were shown paired with white and light blue pants, suggesting the team will mix and match combinations depending on the game.
One of the most distinctive features of the new uniforms appears in the striping on the sleeves and pants. The striping incorporates red, white, navy, and light blue and includes subtle guitar string patterns as a nod to Nashville’s reputation as Music City. Three stars from the Tennessee state flag are also integrated into the design.
Another notable change comes with the helmet. The team has introduced an all white helmet with a white facemask, a first in franchise history. The helmet features the new circular team logo on both sides along with a center stripe that mirrors the multi color striping used throughout the uniform set. Personally, I think a red facemask would have added more contrast and better tied into the red accents on the jerseys.
The new logo itself takes a simplified approach compared with the previous design. Instead of flames and sword imagery, the updated mark uses a circular layout in light blue and red with minimal navy accents. The design reflects both the franchise’s historical color scheme and the iconography of the Tennessee state flag.
The overall aesthetic blends the legacy of the Oilers era with modern elements tied to the team’s home in Nashville. By emphasizing light blue, simplifying the logo, and incorporating unique local elements, the Titans appear to be leaning into the strongest visual aspects of their franchise history while creating a cleaner and more contemporary identity.
And while they did not unveil an alternate uniform today, I would not rule out seeing one unveiled in July. We are only getting started with uniform refresh season.

The Philadelphia Eagles are adding a black outline to the chest wordmarks on their midnight green, white, and black jerseys, while the Kelly green throwbacks will not be affected since they do not have a wordmark. My immediate reaction is that this is not great. Like why? The Eagles already changed their wordmark in 2024 to modernize it, and while I actually didn’t mind that change, this one just feels unnecessary. It also appears that on the black jersey the outline remains black, meaning you essentially won’t even be able to see it, which I don’t really get either. As an Eagles fan I’ll definitely have a stronger opinion on this than I would with other small uniform tweaks around the league, and I’ll have more to say once we start seeing these show up at retail.
Had to get this out quick before the big Titans news tonight. Check back in around 9:00 PM. And yes... confirmed leaks are out there.

After joining Baltimore, Maxx Crosby changed his Instagram profile picture to an image of himself in a Ravens uniform wearing number 98. At first glance it just looked like a quick graphic announcing the move, but looking closer, the jersey in the image does not appear to be apart of the current Ravens set. The purple home jersey shows subtle differences compared to what the team has worn in recent seasons, suggesting the photo may be showing the updated 2026 version.
The Ravens are known to be making uniform changes for 2026, but unlike some other teams, this is expected to be more of a refresh than a full redesign. The core identity is staying the same with purple jerseys and black helmets, but the tweaks appear to lean slightly toward the franchise’s original 1996-era look. That includes elements like the older Ravens wordmark and adjustments to the number styling and collar area.
Those are exactly the kinds of differences that seem to show up in Crosby’s profile picture. The numbers and overall detailing on the jersey look slightly different than the current set, which lines up with what has been expected from this update.
New uniform season is upon us. I'll catch you back here Thursday night (pending any breaking news) to breakdown the Titans new uniforms shortly after the reveal.

There will be a lot of changes to the Rams look in 2026. We know they filed for uniform changes early last year, and now the 2026 draft hat appears to show an updated version of the LA logo, featuring a solid yellow mark with no gradients or extra shading. The current version uses multiple tones and fades, so moving to a flat design would be a noticeable shift, and it lines up with what we’ve been hearing about the team simplifying their branding.
If that logo does end up being the new primary mark, it sounds like the uniforms will follow the same direction. The gradients that currently appear on the numbers, horns, and logos are expected to be removed, which would give the whole set a much cleaner and more traditional look. The helmet is expected to stay the same, so this would be more of a refresh than a full redesign, just tightening up the details to match the updated logo style.
There has also been some discussion on Reddit where someone posted a mockup of what the new uniforms could look like. It doesn’t seem official, but it matches up with everything we’ve heard so far and looks pretty realistic with the gradients going away. One idea that stood out to me was a blue and white alternate, which would be a great addition if they decide to expand the set a bit.
For now this is all still based on early previews, but the direction seems pretty clear. A simplified logo and cleaner uniforms would be a noticeable change from what the Rams have now, and we’ll probably learn a lot more once official reveals start getting closer.

The Tennessee Titans have officially teased their new uniforms, which they filed for early last year. They have also announced a reveal date of March 12. This announcement follows a merchandise leak last week that I covered, where a Fanatics listing appeared to debut a new flame-less circular logo.
The team confirmed the timeline today after mysterious billboards surfaced across Nashville yesterday. The teaser image features a shot of textured "Titans Blue" fabric with the three navy stars of the Tennessee Tri-Star. This confirms rumors that the franchise is pivoting away from navy as its primary home color, with a heavier emphasis on red accents.

Around February 14, Valentine’s Day weekend, the Titans rebrand may have revealed itself by accident.
A “Player Pal” plush football appeared on Fanatics.com, the NFL’s official online store, through licensed partner Pegasus Sports. Embroidered on the mini football was a logo nobody had seen before. Screenshots quickly spread across Twitter, Reddit, and sports sites before the listing was taken down.
The leaked logo ditches the old flames and sword-style "T" for a clean circular emblem with a red outer ring, white middle ring, and light Columbia blue center. Inside sits a solid white T with flat edges and the three white stars from the Tennessee state flag. The red, white, and blue palette now leans heavily into lighter blue, reflecting Oilers-era heritage. This mark is part of the 2026 redesign and is tied to a full uniform rebrand expected to debut in April 2026.

I know I said it would be quiet on the football page, but this may happen a bit... Last night the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl was big, sure, but at least from a uniform perspective, the bigger story was elsewhere. The Commanders quietly teased a major overhaul for 2026, and it’s shaping up to be a full reset. The team is making their white Super Bowl era throwbacks permanent, adding a burgundy version as well, and retiring the current set, which has long been criticized as one of the league’s worst visually. The last few posts have emphasized the spear, with the old uniforms nowhere in sight, signaling a hard pivot to a new identity.
There’s also a new alternate uniform confirmed for this season, expected to drop in April alongside the permanent set. Early signs point to a spear-focused design, tying the modern look back to the team’s history.

The Super Bowl was underwhelming, to say the least, and it really emphasizes just how open the NFL has been this season. If the Eagles had even semi-competence on offense, you can only imagine where they could have been. As I covered in my preview, the Patriots went all ice as the home team. Visually, the game was not horrible, but mono versus mono is never exciting. It is wild to think how much a simple pants change for both teams could have shifted the entire look. The Patriots also failed to go 6–0 in silver on ice, which would have at least added some visual drama to the matchup.
The halftime show was actually solid, and many people, including myself, noticed Ronald Acuña Jr. making an appearance in there.
Now it is on to next season. Come April, we should see not one, not two, but three-plus NFL teams with full uniform refreshes. Add in throwbacks and alternates that will surely arrive by July, and it is going to be a busy offseason.
I will catch you with the next leak or uniform news. Until then, head over to the baseball section, where things are only heating up.

It all comes down to this...
First some statistics:
The last time the designated home team (this year the Patriots) wore white in the big game were the Buccaneers who faced the Chiefs in the 2020 SB.
The Patriots have worn white in every Super Bowl they have been in, including the one time they were the home team when they faced the Eagles in the 2017 Super Bowl.
Silver on ice is solid, but this matchup could of been much better.
Uniform pick: Patriots
Game pick: Seahawks
Better look at the matchup.

Down to four teams, and two games. Two more uniform previews to end the season. Lets get started.
The Patriots will go full ice in Denver with a chance to go to the Super Bowl. One of their solid looks that they brought back this season. Denver has yet to reveal their look but am expecting for them to run back navy/orange/white/white. It will be a lot of white below the waist.
Game pick: Broncos
Both teams will run back their divisonal round looks. Rams in blue below the waist and Seahawks in mono navy. Silver and yellow pants could do a lot.
Game pick: Seahawks
Uniform pick: Seahawks... I guess
Published: 1/23/26
We are down to eight teams. Time to preview the Divisional Round uni matchups.
The Bills will run back their Wild Card combo with blue below the waist. Certainly interested in the Broncos choice, but I am expecting see their standard navy/orange/white/navy.
Game pick: Bills
Uniform pick: Broncos
UPDATE: The Broncos will go navy/orange/white/white.
Its just about red or white socks for the Niners. I am expecting them to stay in white. Now of course the Seahawks got a bye, but am expecting to see mono navy from them.
Game pick: Seahawks
Uniform pick: 49ers
Expecting both teams to remain in their Wild Card combos. Silver pants from the Pats, mono white for Houston.
Game pick: Texans
Uniform Pick: Patriots
Same here with sticking with the combos. Bears could really back the navy pants look.
Game pick: Rams
This will be updated as teams reveal combos.

Wild Card Weekend is officially in the books, and while the football gave us plenty to talk about, the uniforms delivered a familiar mix of frustration, flashes of greatness, and one winner.
We opened Saturday afternoon in Charlotte with the Rams in town. Carolina went all black with the silver helmet, which is not a great look but also not the disaster it could have been. The Rams pulled off the first uniform fakeout of the entire season. Gold pants were teased, but instead they showed up with royal blue below the waist. The result was a dull visual that never really never came together. Los Angeles took care of business and moved on.
Saturday night sent us up to Chicago, where the Packers wore exactly what everyone expected from them on the road. Classic, clean, no surprises. Then the Bears decided to shake things up, and not in a good way. Navy pants and white socks made their first appearance since 2022, and I really was not a fan. It felt heavy and out of place, and it made me wonder if weather expectations played a role in the decision. Did this game miss out on being the best uniform matchup of the week? Keep reading. Chicago won and advanced.
Sunday afternoon brought us Jacksonville hosting Buffalo. The Jaguars went all teal with white socks, and honestly, this is one of the better combinations they can still pull off with their current uniform set. The Bills went blue below the waist, which worked well enough, though white socks could have given it a little extra lift. Buffalo handled business and moved on.
Then we got to Philadelphia, where the uniforms did far more heavy lifting than the Eagles offense ever did. San Francisco in gold pants is always rock solid, and if the Eagles had gone with black socks, this one would have been right in the mix for best of the week. Instead, it landed firmly in the “solid” tier. The 49ers won and advanced.
Sunday night in Foxborough delivered the visual highlight of Wild Card Weekend. The Patriots broke out their best look with silver pants, and it made an immediate difference. The Chargers looked decent on their end, though white socks would have pushed things even higher. This matchup takes the crown as the winner of the week. New England won and moved on.
The weekend wrapped up on Monday night with Pittsburgh hosting Houston. The Steelers were sharp as always, doing exactly what they do best visually. The Texans went all ice, which did little to elevate the matchup. Houston got the win and advanced.
With Wild Card Weekend complete, we now turn the page to the Divisional Round. Four games await. Bills at Broncos. Texans at Patriots. 49ers at Seahawks. Rams at Bears.

The Falcons have released a teaser video as they prepare to unveil new uniforms in April. We have known for a while that the Falcons are one of a few teams unveiling all new uniforms, while some teams are only releasing alternate/throwback jerseys. The picture i attached is a few stills from their short teaser video.

The semi finals are upon us. I went 3-1 on my first round predictions, can I finish 6-1? Lets get back to it.
I love the Miami all white look, and frankly the Ole Miss blue/blue/white isn't terrible. Solid one for the Fiesta Bowl. I got Miami in this one.
Oregon will go green helmet on white unitard. Not my favorite look from Oregon, but nothing bad. Indiana will be in their primary home uniform to complete the Peach Bowl. I got Indiana here.
See you in the CFP National Championship.

According to the "Pewter Report" who have been covering the Bucs for many years, say the Pewter jersey will return in some capacity in 2026. Remember, they had dropped them this year to make room for their all-white creamsicles. On the show they said, "At least for a game. At least for a preseason game." I mean I would take anything. These uniforms have been forgotten and in my opinion I actually think these are really solid. I have always loved the look of Pewter, Red, and Black.
They actually wore a different set of Pewter pants with these than what they wear with their primary jerseys. Its unclear what will be returning until we get an official statement. They were last worn in a color on color matchup in Indianapolis vs. the Colts in 2023.
Welcome back to my four part series of 2026 Uniform Wishes. Were still in the NFL, this time covering the AFC. Lets get back to it.
Man, so much right here already. Just make the red helmet permanent, and bang.
Well, here its about combos. We need less mono looks from them. Also, use your four alternate slots to maximize the home and away throwbacks everyone forgets about.
Maybe add a modern red alternate, but other than that solid throwback, and wear the silver pants more.
Jets have been good at eliminating the mono looks. Not much I would want from them, solid throwback.
The Ravens just need to eliminate the color rush look, the helmet, the gold numbered purple jersey and pants. Its just not a good look.
Nothing much to critique here.
Get rid of the poop helmet, that's all.
Wear the color rush more, eliminate the yellow shell but keep the throwback to wear with their current black helmet.
I like everything the Texans have currently, but their is much potential to wear new combos like the red pants with primary uniforms.
Very clasic, solid primary uniforms. All I say is eliminate the mono white road look by using blue socks. Indiana Nights is solid, its grown on me, its fine.
Prowler Throwbacks full time. Black and white versions. Basically this uniform set from 2004-2008 as shown above with a few tweaks like stripes on the black pants.
Now would the Oilers look be nice full time? Yes, but there are other options within their current name and color scheme. They will get new uniforms next year and am interested which direction they go with. All I asked is a major overhaul.
Fresh off a uniform refresh, I don't have any major wishes besides just dropping the white shell.
Current two uniforms are fantastic. Would be cool to see an alternate red helmet with the state of Missouri on it... oh shoot, not for long. Heading to Kansas! But in all seriousness a helmet like they wore when they were the Dallas Texans would be sweet.
Make the silver numbered white throwbacks the primary road look. That's all. Classic black and silver.
Just drop the yellow jersey, and bang right back to #1 in the Style Standings... but what if they don't?
That will do it for part two. See you in the baseball section soon for part three!

Wild Card Weekend is finally here, and we’re kicking off what should be an action-packed start to the playoffs. There really is not a true standout favorite right now. As uniform matchups get officially revealed, I’ll update this with my uniform favorites, along with who I like in the game. For now, here’s how things are shaping up.
We start late Saturday afternoon in Charlotte with the Panthers hosting the Rams. Neither team has revealed their combos yet, but I’m really hoping for gold pants and blue socks from the Rams. Carolina will for sure be in black jerseys, but below the waist is anyone’s guess. Black, silver, or process blue are all on the table. This one has a ton of potential depending on what they choose.
Game pick: Rams
Uniform pick: Rams
UPDATE: Rams will go Blue/White/Gold/Blue, Panthers Silver/Black/Black/Black
Game pick: Bears
Uniform pick: Packers
Sunday takes us down to Jacksonville with the Bills visiting the Jaguars. We are very much counting down the final days of this current Jaguars set. Any game could be the last time we see it. Both teams should be standard helmet and jersey, but the pants are the mystery. Jacksonville could go white, teal, or black. Buffalo could go white or blue. Red is technically an option, but let’s be honest, that is not happening. What I want: white pants and black socks from the Jags, blue pants and white socks from the Bills.
Game pick: Bills
Uniform pick: Jaguars
UPDATE: The Bills will go White/White/Blue/Blue, Jaguars Black/Teal/Teal/White
Later Sunday afternoon the Niners come to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. Nothing new here. Expect what we’ve seen most of the season from both. Green jerseys and green helmets with white pants and white socks for the Eagles. Gold helmets, white jerseys, gold pants and either red or white socks from San Francisco. Simple, clean, and reliable.
Game pick: Eagles (I have faith)
Uniform pick: 49ers
Sunday night finishes with the Chargers heading to Foxboro to play the Patriots. Both teams have a few different options they’ve already shown this season. The Chargers could go gold, powder, or white pants. The Patriots could go silver, navy, or white. My hope is gold pants from LA, and silver pants from New England.
Game pick: Patriots
UPDATE: Patriots will go Silver/Navy/Silver/Navy, Chargers will go powder below the waist
And then we close Wild Card Weekend on MNF in Pittsburgh with the Steelers hosting the Texans. Pittsburgh will be in black/black/gold/black as always, which never really misses. The Texans actually have some flexibility. Deep steel blue, white, or even battle red if they wanted to get bold. I’d love to see red, but history tells us we won’t. I’m hoping for white pants and navy socks here.
Game pick: Texans
Uniform pick: Steelers
UPDATE: The Texans will go Navy/White/White/White

Week Eighteen brought plenty of uniform talking points across the league, with a mix of strong looks, questionable choices, and a few great moments worth remembering.
We started in Tampa for the first game of the Saturday doubleheader. There were real playoff stakes on the line, with Carolina able to take the division with a win. The Buccaneers went with pewter helmets, red jerseys, white pants, and black socks, which is always a steady and reliable look for them. The Panthers countered with black below the waist. Overall it was fine.
Later that night in Santa Clara, the Niners wrapped up the 2025 Rivalries campaign by debuting their “For The Faithful” uniforms. These are solid. Easily in the conversation for best dark out in the league. The metallic gold accents, especially on the facemask, absolutely make the set. Seattle went navy below the waist, which added to the overall darkness of the match-up in a negative way but it was fine.
In Cincinnati we had a whole lot of orange on Sunday afternoon. The Browns showed up in orange pants and the Bengals basically wore their regular home look.
In East Rutherford we got a classic. Dallas in their primary look and the Giants in theirs.
Minnesota delivered one of the more underrated visual treats of the week. Green Bay wore their standard road look and the Vikings brought out their throwbacks. Those sleeves are incredible. Easily one of the most slept on throwback uniforms in the league.
Houston was, well, dark. Mono versus mono at NRG Stadium. Not a great uniform game. Not terrible. Just heavy and forgettable.
Atlanta came in with a lot on the line. A Falcons win would help Carolina, and a Saints win would help Tampa. New Orleans surprised everyone by going with gold pants, which always looks good. And then the Falcons did what they always do and dragged the whole thing back down. I am so tired of that look.
Tennessee stuck with their very limited rotation again, which feels like a big sign of a full rebrand coming. Thankfully Jacksonville saved the day by breaking out the Prowler throwbacks again. Those are absolutely their best look and should be permanent. Next season?
In Los Angeles, the Rams looked great in blue and gold. Red socks from the Cardinals would have made the matchup pop. Instead it was close to great and just missed.
Detroit once again found a way to ruin a good thing. White pants again. Silver pants against the Bears would have been perfect. Instead it felt like another Lions game that could have looked so much better.
Kansas City and Las Vegas gave us a classic. No complaints. Just a solid, familiar matchup that always works.
Same vibe in Denver. The Broncos went Orange Crush and the Chargers brought out gold pants. Bright, energetic, and honestly one of the more fun visuals of the week.
Miami did what Detroit keeps doing and took something that could have been great and flattened it. All white again. Aqua pants against the Patriots best look would have been such a huge upgrade.
And then we got to Buffalo. Highmark Stadium went out with a visual bang. In my opinion this is the best Bills look ever. Red helmet. Red socks. Blue jersey. White pants. Absolutely perfect. The Jets rolled out a surprise throwback that actually worked really well too. We found out midweek when they practiced in the white shells and it paid off.
In Philadelphia, the Eagles backups looked fantastic in Kelly Green. Washington would have helped things a lot with white socks, but it still worked.
Sunday night brought Ravens versus Steelers and I will never complain about that matchup. Purple pants would have been incredible here like I mentioned on Twitter, but even without them it felt fine.
There is no Monday night game in Week Eighteen, which means the regular season is officially over. I will be handing out best and worst uniform matchup awards later this week on Twitter, and I will be covering every round of the playoffs with previews and recaps.
See you in the playoffs.

Yes, I am finally back. And I am starting off 2026 strong with my first annual, four part series of uniform wishes. Part one and two will be here on my football section covering the NFC and AFC, and then parts three and four will cover the baseball section.
For the Eagles uniforms I ask for no major changes, some that the normal eye doesn't even notice. On their Midnight Green, white, and black jerseys, I ask for them to remove the charcoal gray outlines in their numbers. Its just really not necessary. The other place where you find gray is on their pants. Take a look between the black and green stripe on the white pants, and the white and green stripe on the black pants. Its just ever so slight. I leave the green pants for last, because i have a question. You would think on a green base, the stripes would be white and black. No, obviously you would just put charcoal gray and black, with a sliver of silver. Yeah, makes a lot of sense. The green pants actually gives you a better look at where the charcoal gray would be on the white and black pants, where the silver line is. Finally, the last change I would make is lightening the midnight green helmet color to more closely match their jersey.
And yes, this is probably the team I have the most minor changes to because I am an Eagles fan and watch all of their games.
The biggest thing with the Cowboys that has ALWAYS bugged me is the three different colors blues on their "home" whites. Thats something I don't think will ever change, its just where is royal blue on any of their other uniforms? I actually like their other three uniforms and have no major changes.
With the Giants the only complaint I have is the road uniform having no blue and where on the uniform, but just the helmet. And then vice versa on the home set. Either add blue/red to each uniform, or go all one color which I prefer them not doing.
Oh, baby here we go. The first team that Zach Cohen (@ZachCohenFB) has reported as filing for uniform changes. And they are much needed changes. I am not going to go over everything that is wrong, but instead go over everything that the new uniforms need to cover. Essentially its just replicating and reversing the colors on their new throwback they introduced this season. Basically no changes would be needed to the white uniform besides maybe modernizing a few elements like sleeve trim. The home uniform would just be burgundy base, gold numbers outlined in white. The collar would probably be gold, and the sleeve trim would be white/gold. There should be two, maybe three pant options for these, gold, burgundy, and white. All with two-color trim. The helmet would stay the same as their current throwback.
No changes to any uniform here besides dropping the alternate helmet and jersey. Its just disgusting. Keep the white throwback in throwback status, a great throwback many forget about. They didn't even wear either of those alternates this year which was a bit disappointing, at least for the throwback.
Well. The only major change to all three of their pants (besides the throwback) is ADD PANTS STRIPES! It's so simple.
One change: add a yellow stripe to their white cheddar helmet.
Not really anything I can think of here. Moving on...
Another team Zach reported is filing for changes. Just make the throwback full time, add a red alternate jersey, maybe silver pants, and say goodbye to these modern disasters.
These have really grown on me. I can't really think of changes right now, but eventualy we will need a modern remake of these.
First of all pelase actually wear gold pants. Besides that, add pant stripes to each of their pants, and make the gold color back to the old gold that are on their throwbacks.
What do we change? Pewter, red, black, and white. Perfecto.
You need a home uniform redesign I just don't why it wasn't original when they got new uniforms. You had so much potential, just look at the black and white uniforms. all you had to do. BLOOD CLOTS OUT!
They will also be getting new uniforms next year, hopefully matching the template of their Rivalry Uniforms, with the ram horn going all the way around on the sleeve. Drop the "My name is" tag, and then drop the gradient.
Nothing to crtitique here besides mixing up combos a bit better.
Nothing here either for the 49ers.
That will do it for part one, covering the NFC. Were just getting started. Expect part two this coming week.
Next up will be the week eighteen uniform recap tomorrow, good night.

The College Football Playoff kicks off tonight, the start of eleven games to crown a champion, culminating with the CFP National Championship at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Of course all 12 teams will wear the CFP patches throughout. Each round i'll break down uniform matchups, and my picks for the game.
The Crimson Tide and the Sooners will kick the CFP off tonight in Norman. It will look like a crimson scrimmage with Alabama in their usual road crimson/white/white, and Oklahoma in crimson/crimson/white. I have Alabama in this one.
The Hurricanes will be in in their all-white road uniforms as the Aggies will be in their standard home look of maroon helmets and jerseys with white pants on Saturday. I have Texas A&M here.
Tulane will be in green helmets, white jerseys and green pants and Ole Miss will counter with navy blue helmets and jerseys with gray pants. One of my favorite looks. I have Ole Miss here.
The Dukes will be in white helmets and white jerseys with purple pants, and the Ducks will wear green helmets with gold wings, green jerseys and gold pants. I have Oregon in the one.
That will wrap up the first round.

The uniform storylines of week fifteen once again came from all over the league, and while the bar was set incredibly high early, the rest of the weekend delivered a familiar mix of hits and misses.
We kicked things off in Tampa on Thursday night with the first true color on color clash of the 2025 season, and it could not have been better. Falcons versus Buccaneers, both in throwbacks I already talked about last week, and it was every bit as gorgeous as expected. Tampa's creamsicles paired with Atlanta's red helmets made for a stunning visual and easily the uniform high point of the week.
Sunday began in Houston hosting Arizona in what was set as an all dark versus all color matchup, though it ended up feeling a little flatter than it should have. The Cardinals stuck with their usual all white, while the Texans went all navy. Nothing offensive here, but nothing memorable either. Just okay...
Cincinnati felt like Halloween in December, and honestly, that is a compliment. The Bengals went white at home with orange pants, and the Ravens countered with purple jerseys and white pants. This was a very strong look and would normally be the best uniform matchup of the week if Thursday night had not already claimed that title.
In New England, the Patriots went all navy against the Bills. It worked, but it could have been much better. Silver pants for New England and white socks for Buffalo would have elevated this one significantly instead of leaving it feeling a bit heavy.
Chicago hosted Cleveland wearing white below the neck, which was fine, but orange pants would have added some much needed punch. As it stood, it felt like a missed opportunity against the Bears.
The Chargers went all white with powder socks against the Chiefs’ usual look. This was close to being great. Gold pants for LA would have taken this from solid to a standout.
Philadelphia and Las Vegas both showed up in their standard home and road sets. There is not much to critique here, but if the Eagles were ever going to choose a game to go all green, this would have been the one. Midnight green versus silver and black without dark Raiders pants would have looked fantastic.
Things got strange in Jacksonville, where the Jaguars went all teal with white socks and the Jets paired green pants with white socks. It was a lot happening without much cohesion, and overall I was not a fan.
The Giants wore their Legacy uniforms for the final time this season, and as always, they looked solid. Washington did their part, though burgundy pants would have really helped complete the look.
New Orleans stuck with their usual look, and Carolina did what they could to provide contrast. Nothing flashy, but it worked well enough.
I am officially done discussing the Lions’ all white look. I am tired of it, and it did not matter what the Rams did with their pants because Detroit already ruined the game visually. The Rams dishwater colored pants did not help either. Just an unpleasant watch all around.
Green Bay brought out the white cheddar look in Denver. Whatever, I guess. It was fine. The Broncos, at least, looked solid on their end.
Seattle gave us what was basically a repeat of the Texans versus Cardinals visual from earlier in the day. Dark versus light, whatever, but forgettable.
The Titans continued to add nothing to their already rough season by refusing to experiment at all, sticking to the same road and home combinations. San Francisco, meanwhile, was reliably solid as always.
Sunday Night Football closed with Dallas and Minnesota. The Vikings went all purple, which I have said before I do not hate. For some reason, purple pulls it off better than most colors in a mono look.
That wraps up Week Fifteen. Nothing is set in stone across the league this year, and we still have three massive weeks of football ahead. The Steelers and Dolphins will finish things off on Monday Night Football, with Pittsburgh breaking out their electric Color Rush uniforms.
See you in Week Sixteen.

Tonight the Bucs and the Falcons will square up in the first color on color matchup this season. Even better, a double throwback game. Two of the best throwbacks in the league, the Buccaneers Creamsicle, and the Falcons Throwback will see action on TNF. Looking forward to this one.

The uniform storylines of week fourteen came from just about every corner of the league, and as always, there was plenty to like and plenty to shake your head at.
We kicked things off on Thursday night with the Lions hosting the Cowboys, and Detroit decided to call for a whiteout. That meant the full mono white set, the same one that somehow manages to look worse every time it appears. You already know how I feel about that combination. The good though was that it forced Dallas into navy, something we don’t get often enough. If there’s a tradition worth keeping from a Lions whiteout, it’s probably that one.
Sunday in Orchard Park gave us a snow game. The Bills stayed in their standard white/blue/white/blue home uniforms, and the Bengals countered with orange/white/white/black. It worked well enough, but orange pants would’ve taken this from solid to amazing, but we’ll settle for what we got.
Down in Jacksonville, the Jaguars brought out their Prowler throwbacks again, and every time they wear these, it becomes more obvious that this set needs to be their full time look. The Colts arrived in mono white, and while it wasn’t awful, they could take a page from Cincinnati and at least have blue socks to break up the yoga pants.
Then to MetLife for the debut of the Jets “Gotham City” Rivalries uniform, which… yeah. I could go on for hours about how rough that was, but the Dolphins did their best to help with aqua pants. At least the end zone design actually looked sharp, so there was one positive.
In Tampa, we were treated to something we’ve been begging to see for ages, the Saints FINALLY brought back the gold pants. Instantly, it turned the matchup into a beauty, paired against the Bucs pewter/red/pewter/black look at Raymond James. A delightful uniform matchup we absolutely deserved after what the Saints have hidden from us.
Over in Baltimore, the Ravens and Steelers met in their usual standard home and road sets. I’d still prefer the Ravens drop the white yoga pants and bring in some contrast. Still, the matchup delivered like it always does.
Atlanta hosted Seattle in a game that was visually trying its best, but there’s only so much anyone can do when the Falcons go head to toe black yet again. The Seahawks all white with navy socks was a respectable attempt to balance things out, but Atlanta’s look remains desperately in need of a redesign.
Then we had Titans vs. Browns which… honestly, the less said the better. Just look and you will understand.
Minnesota and Washington gave us their standard home and road combinations, which looked fine but would’ve benefited massively from some variety in sock choices. A little purple and white goes a long way.
Denver went all white with navy socks against the Raiders, not adding much life into the Raiders silver and black. Orange pants from the Broncos would be nice.
Chicago and Green Bay delivered the classic look you expect from the league’s oldest rivalries.
Out west, the Rams brought blue below the waist in an attempt, to improve the look against Arizona’s infamous blood clot uniforms. It didn’t succeed, but at least the Rams showed effort. Yellow/blue below the waist would be better, I guess.
Sunday Night Football closed the weekend with the Chiefs hosting the Texans, which was a refreshingly solid uniform pairing overall.
And that wraps up another packed week across the NFL, the final bye week is now behind us, and only three more regular season weeks remain. My Eagles and the Chargers will finish things off tonight on Monday Night Football at SoFi. The Chargers are going full powder, thankfully with white leggings, while the Eagles will be all white below the neck. I would’ve loved midnight green pants or at least black socks.
See you next week for the week fifteen recap.

The Jets will debut their "Gotham City" Rivalry uniforms this Sunday against the Dolphins. Still trying to figure out if these are black are dark gray. I am certain that the helmet is black...
The Dolphins will counter with white on aqua. Not the worst looking game, but not anything amazing. They will play at 1:00pm on Sunday on CBS.

The biggest uniform storylines of Thanksgiving weekend came from all over the league, and a bunch of games stood out.
The Lions brought back their throwbacks, and they looked fantastic against the gold/white/gold/white of Green Bay. The Cowboys rolled out their gorgeous throwbacks too, although only some players went with the striped socks. The Chiefs showed up with white below the neck, which just was too much white on a day when Dallas already had plenty from head to toe. The Ravens wore their all-purple look in the nightcap, which is still one of the worst uniforms in the league, but the Bengals at least helped the matchup a bit by wearing white pants and black socks.
On Black Friday, The Eagles went all-black, making for a pretty dark game overall (from an offensive standpoint and uniform aesthetic one too 😉). This was expected though since Chicago has not worn anything other than navy pants on the road since 2009.
Into Sunday... the Chargers broke out their "Super Chargers" look, which is still the best dark-out in the NFL. The Commanders went with their "Super Bowl Era" throwbacks against Denver on SNF, who wore all orange with navy socks. It was not a bad looking game, just an unusual mix with orange and burgundy.
New England wrapped up the holiday on Cyber Monday with its Pat Patriot throwbacks, which always are solid.
That closes out a busy Thanksgiving weekend of football. There is still plenty left to play in the next five weeks for many teams. See you next week for my week fourteen recap.

The biggest uniform news of last week's holiday, as Zach Cohen (@ZachCohenFB) reported on Twitter, is that alternate helmets paired with primary jerseys do not count against the maximum of four alternate games a season. This comes after I recently questioned whether the Eagles decision to wear their "Brazil Combo" on MNF in Week 10 would prevent them from going all black on Black Friday, since they had already scheduled their "fourth and final" alternate game in week eighteen, which would be Kelly Green. Turns out even last year when they wore the black helmet/white jersey combo that it didn't count against them and they stayed in last years requirment of three.
