Background:
Back in college, Axie was exposed to toxic waste that turned her into a mutant. Her body is now unstable and is always trying to mutate in different ways. She has learned to accept it over time and usually stays positive by joking about it.

Other:

• She wears a high-tech collar that suppresses her mutations so she can look like a normal human in public.

• The collar's battery only lasts for a few hours. Once it runs out, she returns back into her unstable mutant form.

• She dislikes being treated differently and having her tail pulled.
