Welcome to Unibuy! These Terms and Conditions ("T&C") govern your use of our online shopping app (Unibuy). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these T&C. If you do not agree with any part of these T&C, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these T&C, as well as any additional terms and conditions that may apply to specific sections of the App or to products and services available through the App.

2. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these T&C at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the App. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised T&C means that you accept and agree to the changes.

3. Use of the App

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

• Account: To access certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account information updated.

• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that might harm, damage, or disparage any other party. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Posting or transmitting any false, misleading, or illegal information.

• Engaging in fraudulent activities.

• Interfering with the operation of the App.

5. Orders and Payments

• Order Acceptance: All orders placed through the App are subject to our acceptance. We may refuse or cancel orders at any time for any reason.

• Pricing: All prices are listed in Ugandan shillings and are subject to change without notice. We strive to provide accurate pricing information but cannot guarantee the absence of errors.

• Payments: We accept payment by cash. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method.

6. Shipping and Returns

• Shipping: We will ship products in accordance with our shipping policies, which are detailed on the App.

• Returns: Our return policy, as detailed on the App, governs returns and exchanges.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the App, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of  the Hashaka Brothers or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unibuy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the App.

• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unibuy, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or violation of these T&C.

10. Governing Law

These T&C shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws Uganda without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these T&C shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Uganda.
