Golf trip to Ireland 2021

Join us from 16-23 August 2021

It is a great pleasure to announce this year's UNGC golf trip, which will see us travelling to the beautiful north-west of Ireland, the shores of Northern Ireland and finishing in Dublin. The UNGC ExCom has worked tirelessly to ensure this trip can go ahead this year. This includes ensuring COVID provisions, safe travel plans, and good prices.

We have to give a very big thank you to our colleague Mary Lou, who has done the bulk of the planning and spent a lot of time and resourcing on putting this amazing package together. Therefore, without further ado, here is what's in store for us this year:

Flights

Non-stop roundtrip flights Vienna-Dublin-Vienna with Aer Lingus, the flag carrier airline of Ireland. The fees for the additional Golf Bags is already included!

Car Rental

Rental cars are included in the package price (insurance and petrol to be paid on the spot). We have reserved a number of SUVs and Minivans to transport all of us and our luggage throughout our trip.

Ballyliffin

We will start the first four nights at the award winning Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa Hotel. Our first three rounds of Golf will be at the

Old Links Course;
Glashedy; and
Green Castle.

Roe Park Resort

The next leg of our trip takes us up north to Roe Park and Portstewart. There we will be able to tackle ‘the sleeping giant’ itself, The Strand Course of the infamous Portstewart Golfclub. Before that, we will play at Roe Park Resort which was recently named as the ‘Best Golf Resort in Ulster’ by the Golfers Guide to Ireland!

Roganstown Hotel and Country Club

We will finish our trip in Ireland's capital, Dublin. We will spend our final night at Roganstown Hotel & Country Club and play the local course there. Maybe a pint of Guinness or two!

Price

The price for the complete package is:

Double EUR 1,890.00

Single EUR 2,170.00

Payment

A non-refundable deposit of EUR 200 is required to confirm registration. The outstanding balance is due by 16 July 2021. In case you can't attend, substituting your registration is possible.

Insurance

We strongly encourage participants to carry insurance that covers any unforeseen cancellations, medical and travel emergencies. Please also be aware that Northern Ireland is in the UK, whereas the rest of Ireland is in the EU.
