This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the Unfollowers mobile application ("App"). In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of the App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Instagram Data Exports: When you import your Instagram data export (ZIP file), the App processes this data locally on your device. This data may include your follower lists, following lists, and related timestamps.
Nicknames: You may assign nicknames to accounts within the App. These are stored locally on your device.
Device Information: We may collect basic device information such as device model, operating system version, and app version for the purpose of ensuring compatibility and improving the App.
Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (such as feature usage frequency) to improve the App experience. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
We do NOT collect your Instagram username or password.
We do NOT access your Instagram account directly.
We do NOT collect, transmit, or store your imported Instagram data on any external servers.
We use the information we collect to:
a) Provide and maintain the App's core features, including follower analysis and social insights.
b) Process your Instagram data exports locally on your device.
c) Improve and optimize the App's performance and user experience.
d) Provide customer support when requested.
e) Comply with legal obligations.
All imported Instagram data, including follower lists, relationship analysis, and nicknames, is stored exclusively on your device. We do not have access to this data.
You can delete all imported data at any time through the App's "Delete All Data" feature or by deleting individual accounts. Uninstalling the App will also remove all locally stored data.
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect the App and your locally stored data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
When you purchase a subscription through the App Store, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information (such as credit card numbers). Apple's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store, and Apple's terms and privacy policy apply to your download and use of the App.
The App processes data exported from Instagram. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of Instagram is governed by Instagram's own terms and privacy policy.
We may use third-party analytics tools that collect anonymous, aggregated data to help us understand how the App is used. These services do not have access to your imported Instagram data.
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
a) Access the personal data we hold about you.
b) Request correction of inaccurate data.
c) Request deletion of your data.
d) Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
e) Data portability.
Since your imported data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can view, export, or delete your data directly within the App.
If you are using the App from outside our operating jurisdiction, please be aware that any minimal information we collect (such as anonymous analytics) may be processed in a different country. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Effective Date" at the top. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
