Miranda Flowers - President
Major: Environmental Science
Hello! My name is Miranda, and I'm an upcoming Senior.
I dove into UNF’s environmental community during my second semester as a freshman and haven’t looked back since.
I’ve had the privilege of working at Ogier Gardens, serving on the KAO Executive Board for the past three years, and completing the Environmental Leadership Program.
These experiences have not only helped me find my place at UNF, but also my purpose. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career as an ecologist, using my passion for conservation to create meaningful change.
Fedir Tikhonov - Treasurer
Major: Political Science & Environmental Science
Hi everyone! My name is Fedir, and I am double majoring in Political Science and Environmental Science. In the future, I aim to work in urban planning. I am originally from Ukraine, and in my free time, I enjoy attending various events on campus, spending time at Sawmill Slough Preserve, and running. My interest within KAO lies in sustainable living, which minimizes our impact on natural resources, such as reducing the use of single-use plastics and supporting resilient, pedestrian-friendly communities.
Leah Hudson - Vice President
Major: Environmental Science
Hi, I’m Leah! I’m really excited to be part of the Honor Society Board this year. Outside of school, I spend a lot of my time boxing, reading, painting, language learning, or just going on walks. I love anything that helps me stay active physically and mentally. I’m looking forward to getting more involved, meeting new people, and helping make our KAO community feel welcoming and supportive for everyone.
AJ Hutchinson - Outdoor Programs & SWAN Committee Chair
Major: Criminal Justice (Environmental Studies Minor?)
Hi, my name is AJ and I am a member of the KAO Executive Board. I joined KAO after it was recommended to me by Ruby, I've been a part of ELP and the Environmental Sustainability LLC. I have always been outdoorsy and interested in protecting our environment, I plan on tying this into my major by designing environmentally conscious Internal Combustion Engines for modern motor vehicles.
Sydney Ludvigsen - Communication & Outreach Officer
Major: Environmental Science
Hi! My name is Sydney Ludvigsen, I’m a senior environmental science major!
I’m super excited to be part of KAO and to be part of the "executive boars"! I joined KAO mostly to branch out in the environmental world but I have also found such a great community here and I can’t wait to see what the next year holds for all of us here!
Sophie Casey - Community Engagement Chair

Hi! My name is Sophie and I am a Junior Environmental Science major. I first got involved with KAO through the Environmental Sustainability LLC introducing me to it. I have always been an outdoorsy person, and I have found that KAO is a great way to get involved with other environmentally minded people.
