Ashton Kay is a senior at UNO, majoring in Journalism and Media Communications with a concentration in Emerging Media. He expects to graduate in spring of 2025.
Jacob Lesley is a second year student at UNO, majoring in journalism and media communication with a focus of emerging media. He wants to work in the sports industry as a sportswriter or even a coach. In his free time, he loves to play and watch sports, hang out with family and friends, and play video games. Jacob was born and raised in Carter Lake, Iowa.
Kyle Sohm is a 23 year old senior at the University of Nebraska Omaha graduating in December 2025. Currently pursuing a degree in Media Studies, Kyle is passionate about digital production and sports analytics. Kyle has lived in Omaha his whole life, and has seen how public transportation impacts the lives of those in the city first hand. He hopes this project will shed some light on the issues the public transportation system is facing today.
Henry Talacko, a senior at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, is pursuing a degree in Journalism and Media Communication with an expected graduation date of December 2025. This Omaha native is passionate about film and photography, developing his skills in both mediums. Talacko hopes to leverage his education and passion into a career within the film and photography industry.
Rhett Uleman is a junior at UNO, majoring in Journalism and Media Communications with a minor in Real Estate. For this project, Rhett focused on creating the video story, showcasing his skills in storytelling and media production. A native of Omaha, Rhett brings a local perspective to his work, blending his passion for journalism with his knowledge of the community.
