Overview

Underleaf Index is a personal plant record application. It lets you create plant profiles, add selected photos, record planted dates, soil notes, light needs, health ratings, watering intervals, watering history, and journal entries. The app stores plant records locally on your device using Hive local storage.

Information We Collect

The app stores information you enter into the app, including plant names, dates, soil type, light requirement, notes, health ratings, watering intervals, watering records, journal entries, and paths to photos you select from your device gallery. The app may access your photo library only when you choose to add a photo. The app also uses Google Play Billing when you choose to make a voluntary contribution.

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

The app does not include an account system, authentication, cloud sync, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, crash reporting SDK, location collection, camera capture flow, microphone access, contacts access, or notification permission in the inspected source code.

How We Use Information

Your plant information is used to show your plant profiles, calculate watering status, display health and watering readouts, show plant history, and preserve records between app launches. Billing information is processed by Google Play for voluntary contribution purchases.

Data Sharing

The app does not send your plant records to a developer-operated server in the inspected source code. Google Play Billing may process purchase-related information when you choose to contribute. The privacy policy screen loads a Google Sites policy page in a WebView.

Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Play Billing for voluntary in-app purchases and WebView technology to display the privacy policy URL. The app also uses Flutter packages for local storage, image selection, charts, fonts, and UI behavior. No analytics, ads, crash reporting, login, or cloud database service was found in the inspected source code.

Data Storage and Security

Plant records are stored locally on your device through Hive boxes. Selected photo references are stored as local file paths. The inspected source code does not implement developer-operated cloud storage or custom encryption. Please use your device security settings to help protect local app data.

Data Retention and Deletion

Plant records remain on your device until you edit them, delete individual records, delete all data through the app, uninstall the app, or clear app data through your operating system. Because the inspected source code does not include an account system, there is no account deletion workflow.

Children's Privacy

Underleaf Index is not directed to children. The app does not intentionally collect personal information from children through accounts, analytics, ads, or cloud services in the inspected source code.

User Choices

You can choose what plant information to enter, whether to select photos, whether to delete records, whether to open the policy page, and whether to make a voluntary contribution through Google Play Billing.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the app changes. The effective date will be revised when updates are made.
