Despite the heavy Armenian armoured losses, the key lessons from the videos Azerbaijan has published online are not about armour. Rather, they reflect how the density of sensors on the modern battlefield is changing the balance in combined arms warfare.

It is sad to see that some triggered readers are trying to do propaganda even here, instead of just paying attention to the point of the article, which is about the relevancy of cities in modern wars. I would not want to feel the need to say it under this article, but whoever denies the city of Shusha being the cradle of Azerbaijani culture is simply brainwashed by the Armenian propaganda.

A person only needs to do a slight online research to realize that dozens of poets, writers, musicians, composers, artists and even distinct music genres of Azerbaijan come from this small but powerful city.

I don't quite understand why Stepanakert was cut off from supply after the Lachin corridor has been cut off by Azery special forces.

There is a highway leading north from Stepanakert which then connects with the EW highway from Martakert to Vardenis. This highway is shielded from observation on both sides by high cliffs which would prevent directed artillery strikes from the peak of Murovdag (taken early on by the azeri's) and also made it relatively difficult to hit with drone ordonnance. Thus I would have thought this was still a viable means of supply to Stepanakert even after the road to Lachin had been cut off. Please explain to me why this road could not be used for supply?

The production of Marauder and Matador vehicles is one of the first projects that the Azerbaijan military-industrial complex carried out jointly with internationally renowned technology and manufacturing company, Paramount Group. Since 2011, both armored vehicles produced in Azerbaijan have undergone some modifications as compared to the base version.

In the tests conducted and during operations on the battlefield, as mentioned earlier in the article, the Marauder was proven to withstand landmine explosions of up to 8 kg of TNT under the hull, up to 14 kg of TNT under the wheels, and a side blast of 50 kg of TNT representing a roadside bomb or IED.

The mine resistant Matador features a double-skin monocoque hull to protect it against the impact of land mines, bullets and shrapnel. The ballistic protection of the personnel compartment complies with Level 3 NATO STANAG 4569 standards, the ballistic protection of the engine compartment complies with Level 1 STANAG 4569 standards, and the protection against land mine explosions complies with STANAG 4569 standards, 4a and 4b levels (14 kg of TNT under the hull, 21 kg under the tyre, and a 50 kg TNT roadside bomb or IED). Depending on customer requirements, the protection levels can be increased with additional armour.

Both the Marauder and Matador armoured vehicles have been tried and tested by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces across diverse environments and on the battlefield. The vehicles have proven their reliability in real battles.
