Below you will find hints to help you solve Level 4. The hints are setup to give you various degrees of assistance, starting with a little nudge with the map outline, and continually disclose more and more of the puzzle and level solution as you click on A, B, C, etc..
Warning, this level is harder than all previous levels!

This is the outline of the level one map. You can print this out, or compare your map to this one to ensure you have discovered all the areas of level one.
When you find a path that is not valid, put an X on the path, else mark in each box the possible directions of travel by clicking the arrow on the compass while in the room.

Make sure you have spoken (using the "T" icon in the navigation bar) to all the NPCs, as many of them will give you an "important item" that you seek! ("I have something you need")
Work your way through the level and try to talk to all the NPCs and find the Duke! He will give you a key.

There are 4 different maps that make up Level 4! Make sure you print out 4 copies of the above map.
This level has fairly non-descriptive hallways and rooms as you travel.
The map changes to a random one of the four maps each time you exit and then enter from level 3. You will need to exit the level and travel back to level 2 with the key that the Duke gives you, and collect the "important items" that have been stored in locked cabinets or furniture.
To make you way through, first figure out which map you are on.
The key to which map you are on, look at the 2nd room as you enter the level four map (the one that follows the straight N-S hallway), make note of what the tile looks like and all the directions you can travel from the room. This (2nd room as you enter level 4) looks the same, but in one map you can only go N, E, W and the another map you can go N, E, S, W.

You have probably run into the gremlin that random appears!
He knocks you out and drags you to a random place within the same map and only on level 4 that you currently on.
To combat the random transportation, is to save often.
Upon finding each NPC and talking to them, save the game.
This provides a static and familiar location to restore the game. If you have been mapping, you should be able to figure out where you are based on the NPC.
If you have been teleported, obviously, figure out where you are and continue traveling through the map and finding the "important things".
YOU MUST COLLECT ALL IMPORTANT THINGS, and then go back to the Duke!
