UNCQC is excited to announce Quantum Fest 2026! Join us on Sunday, November 8th 11am - 5pm Sitterson Hall FB 009!
This is a one-day, beginner-friendly event and it is open to all students interested in learning about quantum computing, coding in Qiskit, meeting professionals in the field, and exploring future opportunities in the industry.
By the end of the event you will have learned about the basics of quantum computing, completed a coding project in Qiskit, and networked with professionals in the industry. In addition, a chance to win some swag!
Learn about our Technical Tracks!
This track focuses on hands-on Qiskit tutorial led by UNCQC officers
Here, we will cover concepts of entanglement, circuit design, and Qiskit SDK basics.
We suggest this track for those eager to learn their first quantum computing concepts, or club members unable to attend the workshops!
This track will include a deep-dive into Qiskit Primitives (Sampler/Estimator)
We will also cover variational algorithms for upper-level researchers.
We suggest this track for any club members who already have a bit of Qiskit experience under their belt and want to apply it!
