Jan Hofmeyer Community Services (JHSC) had a friendly approach to initiatives and new ideas. The manager accepted our ideas and this approach encouraged us to put in more efforts for the campaign. The employees were opened to changes and committed to achieving the aim of the project even though they were volunteers. During the communication research process, the problem identified was lack of awareness, this problem was analyzed critically, and three solutions were tendered. Coming up with an awareness campaign for the NGO was an amazing experience for me because I got to meet with different people, think out of the box, and came up with creative ideas. The most interesting part I enjoyed while working with the NGO was planning the event. It was amazing coming up with the event program and being in charge of the invitations. The staff cooperated well with my team and I. The challenge we faced was website creation for the NGO. Creating a website was one of the solution identified to boost awareness but we struggled a little bit when designing and coming up with the site. We overcame this challenge by asking design experts on advice and how to design the site.
