We provide opportunities to form part of a community of musicians who are passionate about music, teaching, and the broader community.

We are part of the UNC School of Music, and we are open to all Music majors regardless of specialization.

Priscilla is a Music Education Major in her Junior year at UNC. She plays Classical Guitar. "My favorite part of MTNA is the supportive community of people that I have gained who love to do what I love to do." Her favorite sweet treat is strawberry sorbet! One of her music goals is to make a positive impact on the minority population in the music community.

Dr. Justin Krawitz plays Piano. His teaching areas include Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy. His favorite sweet treat is a Mozartkugel!
Justin Krawitz is an Associate Professor of Piano and Piano Pedagogy at the University of Northern Colorado . He currently serves as the interim Associate Dean of the College of Performing and Visual Arts. Dr. Krawitz is a Vice President of the Colorado state Music Teachers Association. He values the professional development opportunities and the sense of community that MTNA provides to teachers at all stages of their careers. He is a regular presenter at MTNA state and national conferences and for State MTA Local Associations.
