Uncle Frank’s Men’s Club (UFMC) is a unique and sophisticated approach to men’s professional grooming. Set in a rich rugged theme with a classic vintage atmosphere, Uncle Frank's Men’s Club will be the ultimate experience in male haircuts and grooming services. It is built upon the premise of a comfortable, inviting, and relaxing open space where men can rest and socialize before, during, and after services.
Men and their sons alike will visit regularly to purchase hair-cutting services and other amenities that are offered, such as sports on multiple TVs, billiards, darts, chess, and other intellectually challenging games. While visiting UFMC men can be treated to complimentary drinks all while being treated like a VIP guest every visit.
Our goal: To provide the best haircut and hair services in the Rochester area, creating a strong return customer base, while providing services and products that will continue to challenge the market and bring in new customers.
Our Mission statement: Uncle Frank’s Men’s Club will be a friendly, welcoming environment that will provide the best services in the area. UFMC will cater to the needs of the customer and create a family environment from the owner to the employees that will encompass the consumer.
Company history: Uncle Frank’s Men’s Club is founded based on the life of our Uncle Frank Mazzarella who was a World War II Vet that returned home and eventually began cutting hair for a living. His career and personal business lasted for over 50 years before he retired in 2008. As a child and young man and into my teenage and adult years, Uncle Frank was a confidante and friend. I would visit his shop almost weekly growing up going in for a hair cut and staying for the laid-back atmosphere and great conversations while the old timers talked about the old days and told stories of all sorts. The vision of the shop will always be an important part of my life, his old fashioned early 1900’s register, flanked by his classic barber chair surround by pictures and artifacts from a time since past. An atmosphere with the smell of cigars in the air and the smell of old-fashioned shaving cream and post shave balm.
Our company is founded on this vision, but brought into the modern era, mixing added service experiences with a modern flair tied in with that vintage charm. UFMC is the ultimate place to get an everyday service that many men take for granted- an opportunity to socialize with friends both old and new. Uncle Frank’s dream was based on a sustainable, yet simple model of business that came from his strong Italian background raised by parents from Italy. They taught him that you only get what you want from life by working for all you have and by treating people the way you want to be treated. He used this passion for life, work ethic, and family values to sustain himself during WWII where he served, surviving the invasion of Normandy, working his way through many battles before being injured at the great Battle of the Bulge on the Western Front. Uncle Frank was one of the many brave American Troops that fought for our way of life and freedom that we still enjoy today.
Uncle Franks Men’s Club is an homage to this great profession and honors this great man.
