The ART is led by Dr. Ming-Chun Lee, who has had extensive research and teaching experience in geographic information systems (GIS) and immersive visualization technologies. Dr. Lee has recently been named one of the five fellows in the Augmented Reality and Cities Fellowship Program by Niantic Labs and Knight Foundation in July 2018, and is currently in collaboration with both organizations to develop and conduct community events in which AR will play a central role in connecting community members and promoting social learning and mutual understanding.
Ankit is a graduate student in College of Computing and Informatics at University of North Carolina, Charlotte pursuing Masters of Science in Computer Science. He have been the technology developer for the augmented reality applications and projects of ART. With a wide stack of technology skills, Ankit specializes in data and product visualization using Augmented Reality which is evident from the projects at ART. He is enthusiast and a strong believer of AR, technology that will be a prime component of everybody's life in near future.
