Privacy is the right that everyone has to be free from the invasion of personal space by others. It is also when you have the freedom to keep specific personal things to yourself and to be known only by the owner and tell those you feel like sharing.(A.Lukacs 2016)

Privacy is there to protect crucial information from going to wrong hands that might harm us in anyway.
Protects one's reputation from being ruined online and offline.
It puts in place certain social boundaries that a person can manage .
Builds a foundation of trust and respect between two or more people as they both know about privacy.
