End-of-Year Food Drive

United Nations Association of South Africa, SU Chapter

What is UNASA SU?

The United Nations Association of South Africa (UNASA), Stellenbosch University (SU) Chapter, is a student-run organisation that seeks to exemplify and promote the spirit and objectives of the United Nations on the campus of Stellenbosch University and in the wider community.

The organisation is run by an elected executive committee of ten SU students and is made up of hundreds of members from the university student body and the wider Stellenbosch community. For more information on us, to keep up with our upcoming projects, and to get involved, check out our website and Instagram.

This food drive initiative was principally organised by UNASA SU's Sustainable Development Goals portfolio, with the support of the entire UNASA SU executive committee. Thank you to the SDGs executive, Damien du Preez, and the eight members of the SDGs sub-committee - Thana, Tayla, Happy, Nicola, Tlhometso, Senzo, Marizelle, and Amy - for their passion, dedication, and hard work.

Thank you to our generous sponsors - Onyx Educate, SmartPrep, Cultivate, Unlock Escape Rooms, Bex Creates, Cantina Chica, Good Food Bowl, Jinja Outdoor, and Gosh Nails - and our community partner - Feeding In Action. Your enthusiasm, effort, and care were invaluable in ensuring the success of this initiative, highlighting your role in creating positive social impact in the Stellenbosch community.

Finally, thank you to the entire UNASA SU team. There's no greater group of people.
