Miles Ncube is a professional Zimbabwean dancer and musician based in London, England. Born and bred in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. At the age of sixteen he joined Zimbabwe’ s premier dance company, Hloseni Arts Ensemble and begun his intensive training in traditional dance and music. With Hloseni Arts Ensemble Miles routinely toured Southern Africa and got involved in outreaches teaching young people and children traditional music, dance and values in Schools and youth centres. Miles believes that music and dance is a spiritual practice and today he dedicates himself to honouring Zimbabwe’s spiritual traditions as well as collaborating with artists from all over Africa and the World. While in UK Miles enjoys facilitating Afro-Contemporary, traditional dance and drumming sessions to all people of all backgrounds and ages across London & UK for prestigious theatres such as Sadler's Wells, Private Cos, Community Centres and in schools. He is also a Decolonization Activist that works with various Community centres, Festivals, and Museums such as the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford among others.
