Welcome to Umrah Guide ("the App"), a step-by-step mobile application designed to help Muslims perform Umrah in accordance with authentic Sunnah. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App immediately.
The App does not require account registration. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifying information unless you voluntarily contact us for support.
Depending on your device settings and any third-party services integrated into the App, the following information may be collected automatically:
• Device type, model, and operating system version
• App version and session duration
• Crash reports and error logs (for debugging purposes only)
• General geographic region (country-level only, derived from locale settings)
• Usage analytics — e.g. which steps are viewed, navigation patterns
We are committed to your privacy. The following data is never collected:
• Precise GPS location or real-time location tracking
• Camera, microphone, or biometric data
• Contacts, messages, or any other personal device data
• Financial or payment information of any kind
• Religious affiliation, prayer history, or any spiritual/personal records
Any information collected is used solely for the following purposes:
• To deliver and improve the core functionality of the App
• To diagnose and fix crashes, bugs, or performance issues
• To understand general usage patterns and improve the user experience
• To respond to support requests you initiate
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose. We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data to third parties.
The App may integrate optional third-party SDKs for analytics or crash reporting (for example, Unity Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or similar). These services operate under their own privacy policies. Where applicable, links are provided below:
• Unity Analytics: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Google Firebase: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
If you wish to opt out of analytics collection, you may do so through your device's privacy settings or by disabling relevant permissions. The App remains fully functional without analytics.
Crash logs and anonymous analytics data are retained only as long as necessary to resolve technical issues — typically no longer than 90 days. We do not maintain databases of personally identifiable information.
Support communications (emails) are retained for up to 12 months and then permanently deleted, unless legal obligations require longer retention.
The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). The App contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no social features.
If you believe a child has inadvertently provided personal information through a support request, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any data associated with the App. Crash reports and analytics data are transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections to our service providers.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
• Right to Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Right to Deletion — request deletion of any personal data
• Right to Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to Object — opt out of analytics or data processing
• Right to Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address listed at the top of this document. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our lawful basis for processing anonymous analytics data is legitimate interest (improving the App). You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at the address provided.
We are committed to compliance with data protection principles applicable in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other jurisdictions where Umrah pilgrims commonly reside. We process only the minimum data necessary and never for commercial exploitation.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. For significant changes, we will provide notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
