Back to Basic Workshop is an alternative by UMPBot Club to ensure all the new members familiar with the software and tools used during events. Participated by thirty-four new members, the program hosted by Ikmanizardi succeed to run within three days. The workshop started by mechanical, electrical and lastly programming department.

All the participants are given module by each department and quizzes to test understanding and effectiveness of the programs. Most of active UMPBot senior was selected to be speaker and writer of modules of each program.
