ABOUT EMAC

The Entertainment, Media, and Arts Club at the University of Minnesota Law School was founded in 2021 for students to watch movies and analyze the underlying legal issues behind the scenes. 

Today, we move forward with our mission to become an entertainment law hub for our fellow students. Our newsletter and blog serve to keep the student base updated on entertainment law, but also serve as a space for student engagement. The blog and newsletter are entirely composed of student submissions, allowing students to showcase their interests and build an online presence in the legal community. In addition to our traditional movie events, speaker events are on the horizon!

Together, we explore multiple aspects of entertainment law, including contract, trademark, copyright law. For more information, please feel free to contact us.
