Telehealth Hotline:
For any student exhibiting symptoms related to COVID-19 (fever, cough or shortness of breath) and concerned with their level of risk for the disease, a hotline has been established by the UMMC Center for Telehealth. The hotline can also be used if you are returning from traveling either out-of-state or internationally.
Students who wish to be screened for their COVID-19 risk level can call 601-496-6284, M-F from 8AM-5PM, to speak with a clinician.
Clinical Rotations:
Per Dr. Ralph Didlake: "I have directed all UMMC deans to extend the suspension of on-campus student activities through May 1, 2020. This includes traditional lectures, large group labs, and clinical rotations. On-line learning will continue. There will be some officially-approved exemptions to this suspension but only under the direction of Dr. Jerry Clark or the dean of your school."
Additional Information:
