ชื่อบานาบัสมาจากชื่อตัวเอง Barnabas Collins จากหนัง Dark Shadows เพราะแวบแรกที่เห็นคือไอน้องนี้มันคือ Barnabas JR Collins เลยนิน่า!!!!

ก็เลยโอเค พอรับเข้าบ้านมา ก็ไม่มีชุดใส่ เพราะว่าในช่วงปี 2012 วงการดอลล์ยังไม่ได้โด่งดังขนาดนั้น เลยทำให้หาชุดเล่นได้ยาก และในช่วงที่เล่นแรกๆ ยังไม่รู้ว่าต้องเล่นยังไง ถ่ายยังไงให้สวย กว่าจะได้เล่นจริง ๆ เรซิ่นก็เหลืองเป็นกล้วยหอมสุกไปแล้ว YuY

Barnabas: The Legend Who Started It All (Spirit Doll Dandelion) 🕯️🏛️

Meet Barnabas, the very first doll in my collection. He’s a Dandelion model from Spirit Doll, and he’s been with me since 2012! It all started when a friend convinced me to dive into the world of BJD, and I haven't looked back since.

The Name of a Vampire

His name was inspired by Barnabas Collins from the movie Dark Shadows. The moment I saw his face, I thought, "This is it! He’s literally a mini Barnabas Jr. Collins!" 🧛‍♂️

The 2012 Struggle

Back in 2012, the doll hobby wasn't as widespread as it is now. Finding clothes or accessories was a massive challenge. Plus, as a complete beginner, I had no idea how to style him or even how to take a decent photo!

By the time I finally figured out how to "properly" play with him and get those beautiful shots... time had taken its toll. His resin had already aged, turning a deep yellow shade—just like a ripe banana! 🍌 YuY (But hey, that just gives him more "vintage" character, right?)
