NVIDIA Isaac: is an AI robot development platform consisting of NVIDIA-accelerated libraries, application frameworks, and AI models that accelerate the development of AI robots such as autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), arms and manipulators, and humanoids.
Omniverse Launcher: Omniverse is a platform of tools. Isaac is one of these tools. So in order to get NVIDIA Isaac, you need to install the whole platform.
Navigate to Google and go to: https://developer.nvidia.com/omniverse#section-getting-started
Scroll down to the Build section and click the Windows link at the very bottom of the “Build From Skratch” section. It should be downloading a file named: omniverse-launcher-win.exe
Open the executable file and create an account for Omniverse
Installing Isaac Sim and Compatibility Checker
Once you log in, go back to the app and click the EXCHANGE tab. Type in “isaac sim” and click the app that displays “ISAAC SIM” and “ISAAC SIM COMPATIBILITY CHECKER”
Once ISAAC SIM is installed, click the Launch button to start the application. A window like below should pop up and startup the application. Once the app is loaded, the terminal should say, “Isaac Sim App is Loaded”
Done! 🎉
