Every Tuesday at St. Paul's 229, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, we will begin with a presentation from Dr. Craigen or Dr. Arman for the first half of the meeting. We will cover common techniques seen and used in competitions like the Jerry Heuer Team Contest and the Putnam Contest. For the latter half, we will have a problem solving session where students can collaborate with each other and share their solutions and ideas.
This webpage will be updated weekly with a link to RSVP for the meeting. Please RSVP by Monday of the same week. We hope to see you there!
Meeting 8 will be Tuesday, December 3rd from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Dr. Arman will discuss recurrences.
To encourage discussion among students, you can submit solutions to provided problems on Microsoft Teams to be entered into a weekly raffle to win a $20 Tim's gift card, sponsored by the math department. The link to the Mathletics Microsft Teams can be found below.
