In 1985, the Armanjani Sculpture and Garden were introduced to the Northwest side of Tawes Hall. The sculpture was created by Iranian-American sculptor Siah Armanjani. Armanjani's work has been featured at
Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota and the The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. He is best known for his work in the public art arena and has created works such as
“Manifesto: Public art in the context of American democracy,”
