3/1 Martha's Table Service Project GBM: March National Nutrition Month
March is National Nutrition Month. In honor of this, our GBM is a service project where we will be making PB&J sandwiches and donating them to Martha's Table in DC. As (future) nurses we must be advocates for health in all aspects of life, and nutrition is a very important factor in overall health. By supporting Martha's Table's "Food and Nutrition Programs", we are helping to reduce hunger, improve wellness and promote healthy lifestyles. Their programs provide donated food and nutrition education in neighborhoods that lack proper food access.
