The camp will take place 24th - 28th June, 2024.

Morning sessions will run from 9 am to 12 pm.

We will break for lunch between 12 pm and 2 pm.

Afternoon sessions will run from 2 pm - 5 pm.

Lab: Google Earth tour of Earth’s volcanoes

Topic: What is magma?

Lab: Learn to identify crystals in volcanic ash

Day 2

Topic: Why do volcanoes erupt?

Lab: Volcano analogs (e.g., coke and mentos; baking soda and vinegar)

Afternoon

Topic: Volcanoes in space!

Lab: Ask a graduate student (graduate student research talks)
