We had a really nice stay in Wayan’s homestay. We felt very welcomed by the whole family and everybody we met. The dinner at home was delicious and we were very happy to share the conversations and to get to know the life of the family.
We had the chance to see I Luh and her friends perform a Balinese dance and we love it.
The walk in the ricefields was nice and instructive. It’s very peacefull. We had a really nice time learning how to waving and were very impressed by the technicity of the art. The pottery making was a nice moment to share and we even left with 2 potteries for home.
Thank you very much for this moment in the village life !!!

We really enjoyed our time in Wayan’s Homestay at Jasri Village and are very beautifull for the very friendly atmosphere within the family.
We absolutely support the idea of a sustainable development of the village regarding to the farmers and manufactures.
For us, Jasri Village is a beautifull place which can and need to be kept very attractive and balanced, both for locals and for tourists.
Wish you and your family all the best.

Here's my comment: I stayed 10 days in Jasri, which is much longer than I planned, but this is a place you don't want to leave that fast! it's a small balinese village close to mountains, rice fields, black and white beaches and beautiful coast lines. i explored the area with my guide and host Parsa who is a brilliant guide and became a good friend!he showed me around by mountain biking, hiking, scooter - i experienced the traditional village life and also saw the touristic and non touristic sights in the region. but the best was definitely the homestay and my host family!i had the great chance to live in one of the most lovely families you could imagine - my room was in the house of the hosts and very comfortable. i really felt at home and learnt a lot - the whole family was very welcoming and showed me how to cook, we had great home cooked dinners together, we made offerings, went shopping at the market and i could even participate at a temple festival - one of my Bali highlights! if you want to experience the Balinese life, learn about their culture, see beautiful nature and be warmly welcomed by amazing people, Jasri should definitely be on your list! I'll be back for sure to see how the flowers in the pottery i made are growing.

It has been so special spending time with Parsa and family, specially seeing your talented daughter and friends perform traditional Balinese dancing and tasting your wife’s delicious food ( Esp. the spicy sambal ). The lunch was yummy too.
It is great to see how hard you work to being tourism in Jasri and how your trips help the local coconut plantation worker and others. The trek was lots of fun and not too difficult ! We would love to come back one day maybe for mini wedding ceremony.
Lots of love, Prathab & Pavi.

I stayed in Wayan’s Homestay for 2 nights with a friend. Wayan and his wife were really friendly and nice people. The room was cleaned and the bed was comfortable.
We shared the first dinner in his home, the plates were delicious. Wayan gave us some tips about places to discover. Jasri is a nice place to stay. There are ricefields, the beach is near the house ( less than 1 km ). Wayan took us to hike in the rice fields, we could see how people grow rice and harvest ( We also tried to cut rice plants like the farmer ). At the end of the hike, there is someone who climb to the coconut trees. We taste 3 delicious coconuts which the climber just gather. Just before to come back to the house, there was a chocolate factory, which make lovely chocolate products.
In a word, Wayan Homestay is a good place to be and stay.

Sehr freundliche Familie.

Hotel keluarga sangat tenang. Kami tinggal bersama keluarga pemilik dan memiliki kamar terpisah. Mereka berpendidikan tinggi.

Friendly, traditional, Balinese owned Homestay, right next to the river in Jasri.
In a quiet lane but close to the shops and village. The surf and beaches and temples are within a km or two, with lots of super cheap warungs and restaurants close by.
A nice hike across the river and through the rice fields is worth doing, and Bli knows absolutely everyone, can organise all and any tours, rent you a bike, be your driver, arrange a massage, whatever you need! Hostess Made is an amazing cook and I recommend dining with the family at every opportunity
The room was clean, with aircon and wifi, and the bed was massive and comfy!
Lots of jungle and amazing fresh fruit around here, so be sure to try it all.
I've stayed here a number of times and keep coming back.
Why stay in a boring hotel or resort, when you can immerse yourself in the real Bali and Balinese culture?
If you're lucky, you may even be there during a ceremony and get to join in if invited.
