Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
UltraPlayer respects your privacy. All media playback and file browsing happens entirely on your device. The app is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. We collect anonymous crash reports and usage analytics to improve the app.
1. Information We Collect
UltraPlayer collects minimal data to keep the app free, stable, and improving:
Advertising: The app shows ads via Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID) and related ad-interaction data. In the EEA/UK and applicable regions, ads are only requested after you make a choice in the consent dialog shown on launch.
Crash reports: When the app crashes, an anonymous crash report is sent via Firebase Crashlytics. This includes the stack trace, device model, and Android version. No personal data or media file information is included.
Usage analytics: Anonymous usage events (e.g., which features are used, playback format statistics) are collected via Firebase Analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Crash reporting is automatically disabled in debug builds. You can change your ads-consent choice anytime from Settings → Ad privacy options (where applicable).
2. Information We Do Not Collect
UltraPlayer does not collect, store, or transmit:
Personal information (name, email, phone number, or account details)

Playback history: Last played position and play count for resume functionality.
Playlists, bookmarks, and favorites.
App preferences: Theme, equalizer presets, and settings.
Network server credentials: SMB/SFTP connection details you configure are stored in the app's private storage.
You can clear all local data by clearing the app's data in your device Settings or by uninstalling the app.
