This guide will go into detail about all things related to Mavuika's kit, teams, builds and synergies.

Introduction:

The pyro Archon, naturally, is a pyro unit. Her role will be a claymore on-field DPS. Much like all Natlan characters, she also has out-of-combat and exploration applications. When Mavuika mounts her motorbike, she can traverse Teyvat without inhibitions. Be it riding on water, climbing walls or even claiming the Sky, our beloved Mavuika can do it all!

Do not let her overwhelming ability on-field fool you. Mavuika also finds herself as a capable off-field unit with supportive qualities should you so require.

Nightsoul and Nightsoul Burst

Nightsoul is a mechanic created for Natlan characters.
Nightsoul functions similarly to a stamina meter where Natlan characters can utilize specialized quirks.
Most generate their own Nightsoul Points when they use their elemental skills, then spend them for traversal and/or for combat mechanics.
One may look at it as a makeshift timer of a power-up.

The confusingly named Nightsoul Burst mechanic is not related to either Nightsoul or elemental bursts.
On a team containing at least one Natlan character, any character can trigger a Nightsoul Burst by dealing elemental damage to an enemy. A large white outline of an aztec sun (Natlan symbol) on the screen is the visual indicator when this happens. If Mavuika is the only Natlan character on the team, this can happen once every 18 seconds; the cooldown is reduced to 12 seconds with a total of two Natlan characters on the team, and 9 seconds if there are three or four.

This means that Mavuika's A1 passive ATK buff should have 83% uptime with one Natlan teammate, and 100% with two or three Natlan teammate

Normal attack: Flames weave Life

Performs up to 4 consecutive claymore strikes.

Mavuika does not use the dismounted attacks in combat.

This talent has no effect on her mounted attacks.

Elemental Skill: The named moment

Calling upon her authority over "conflict," Mavuika summons the all-fire armaments passed down through the line of human Archons, dealing Nightsoul-aligned pyro DMG

After using this, Mavuika's Nightsoul points are restored to max value, and she enters the Nightsoul's Blessing state.

All-Fire Armaments

Has different forms when tapped and held.

Tap

"Divine Name Unleashed": The all-fire armaments manifest as "Rings of Searing Radiance". The rings follow the currently active character and attack nearby opponents at intervals, dealing Nightsoul-aligned pyro DMG.

Hold

"Ancient Name Unbound": The all-fire armaments manifest as a "Flamestrider". In this state, Mavuika can ride the "Flamestrider" at high speed, or activate its hidden backup propulsion module to temporarily cross various terrain types and glide in mid-air. Mavuika's normal, charged, and plunging attacks will also be converted to deal Nightsoul-aligned pyro DMG which cannot be overridden. When sprinting, she deals Nightsoul-aligned pyro DMG to opponents along her path.

Mavuika's Nightsoul gauge has a capacity of 90 Nightsoul points (NSP) at C0 or 120 at C1. Using her Elemental Skill fills her gauge to maximum, then spends NSP over time. The initial cast generates five pyro particles if it hits an enemy, which may be funneled to a teammate.

Mavuika's off-field tap skill mode costs five NSP per second, and automatically attacks enemies every two seconds, with an additional cost of three NSP per attack. This means it costs 13 NSP per attack, allowing for six attacks over 12 seconds at C0, or nine attacks over 18 seconds at C1. These off-field attacks have no internal cooldown and do not snapshot buffs.

Her hold skill input is typically used only for exploration, not in serious combat. Instead, a normal rotation will have Mavuika use her Tap E mode to charge her burst while her teammates are on the field, then enter her mounted combat state via her elemental burst.

Her elemental skill includes scalings for her mounted attacks, which are separate from the scalings of her unused normal attack NA talent.

Her elemental skill is second in priority for raising, with elemental burst delivering the highest returns on investment.

Elemental burst: Hour of burning skies

Mavuika's elemental burst is not reliant on energy, but instead, on "Fighting Spirit."

Fighting Spirit:

When Mavuika has at least 50% Fighting Spirit, she can consume all to unleash her elemental burst.

Mavuika can obtain Fighting Spirit via the following methods:

- When in combat, Nightsoul points consumed by nearby party members are converted to Fighting Spirit.

- When nearby party members' normal attacks hit opponents, Mavuika gains 1.5 Fighting Spirit. This can trigger once every 0.1s.

After using this, Mavuika gains 10 Nightsoul points and enters the Nightsoul's Blessing state. Riding her Flamestrider high in the air, she uses a powerful "Sunfell Slice" against opponents on the ground, dealing Nightsoul-aligned AoE pyro DMG and entering the "Crucible of Death and Life" state.

Crucible of Death and Life

During this time, Mavuika's various actions will no longer consume Nightsoul points, and her interruption resistance is increased. Also, the DMG dealt by "Sunfell Slice" and "Ancient Name Unbound's normal and charged Attacks is increased based on the amount of Fighting Spirit she has when using the Elemental Burst. "Crucible of Death and Life" will be canceled when Mavuika leaves the field.

Mavuika's burst begins with Sunfell Slice, a powerful nuke often compared to the first hit of Raiden's burst. This single damage instance provides a large portion of Mavuika's overall damage in both on-field and off-field teams. Combined with the powerful buffs she gives herself if you play her on field during her burst's duration, raising her burst talent should be given the highest priority.

Mavuika gains Fighting Spirit (FS) at a rate of one stack for each Nightsoul Point spent at C0. Teammates' normal attacks cannot contribute substantially to her FS stacks, except in co-op. Her personal contribution of 90 NSP at C0 means that if used on a team with no other Natlan characters, her teammates will need to perform at least 7 normal attacks every rotation for Mavuika to reach the minimum 100 stacks required for her to burst. At C1, Mavuika's 130 NSP per rotation and buffed FS gain rate of 1.25 stacks per spent NSP allow her to easily charge her burst to ~160 stacks on her own.

When Mavuika uses her burst, she automatically enters her Hold E mounted state. This cancels her tap-skill off-field application; unless her C6 is unlocked.

Mavuika's on-field attacks during her burst duration use the mounted NA scalings from her Elemental Skill, with added damage bonuses that scale from her ATK stat and number of Fighting Spirit stacks. Her burst buffs her charged attack twice as much as it buffs her normal attacks, making it optimal to always play her with charged attacks; unless your team composition forces you to use normal attacks.

Ascension Passives:

A1: Gift of Flaming Flowers

When a nearby party member triggers a Nightsoul Burst, Mavuika's ATK increases by 30% for 10s.

Refer to "What are Nightsoul and Nightsoul Bursts?" for an explanation of this mechanic and its expected uptime.

A4: "Kiongozi"

After using her Elemental Burst, Hour of Burning Skies, every point of Fighting Spirit present when it is used increases the DMG that the currently active party member deals by 0.20%. The maximum increase obtainable this way is 50%, and this effect lasts 20s, decaying over this duration until it reaches 0.

Mavuika's Kiongozi passive buffs the damage of the on-field character when she bursts, with an initial 20% damage buff at the minimum 100 stacks, up to an initial 40% at 200 stacks. This buff reduces to zero over 20 seconds, unless Mavuika has C4 unlocked.

Constellations:

Mavuika's constellations heavily improve her support capabilities as well as her main DPS capabilities. Making them very valuable for people looking for a versatile Unit with many options in team builds or even a flex unit.

Constellation 1 - The Night-Lord's Explication:

Mavuika's maximum Nightsoul points are increased to 120, and she gains Fighting Spirit 25% more efficiently. Additionally, she gains 40% ATK for 8s after gaining Fighting Spirit.

Constellation 2 - The Ashen Price:

When in the Nightsoul's Blessing State, Mavuika's Base ATK is increased by 200, and she obtains the following effects based on All-Fire Armaments' form:

· Ring of Searing Radiance: Nearby opponents' DEF decreased by 20%.

· Flamestrider: Mavuika's Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, and her Sunfell Slice from the Elemental Burst Hour of Burning Skies deal 60%, 90%, and 120% of her ATK as increased DMG respectively.

Constellation 3 - The Burning Sun:

Increases the Level of Hour of Burning Skies by 3.

Maximum upgrade level is 15.

Constellation 4 - The Leader's Resolve:

Enhances the effects of the Passive Talent "Kiongozi":
The DMG increase gained after using the Elemental Burst Hour of Burning Skies will not decay over time, and an additional 10% DMG Bonus will be gained.
You must first unlock the Passive Talent "Kiongozi."

Constellation 5 - The Meaning of Truth:

Increases the Level of The Named Moment by 3.

Maximum upgrade level is 15.

Constellation 6 - "Humanity's Name" Unfettered:

The All-Fire Armaments from the Elemental Skill The Named Moment receive all-round improvements:

· Ring of Searing Radiance: When the Ring's attacks hit opponents, a Flamestrider will crash into the struck opponent, dealing 200% of ATK as Nightsoul-aligned AoE Pyro DMG.

· Flamestrider: When Mavuika is riding the Flamestrider, she will also summon a Scorching Ring of Searing Radiance to follow her, which will decrease nearby opponents' DEF by 20% and deal 500% of ATK as Nightsoul-aligned AoE Pyro DMG to nearby opponents once every 3s. Mavuika's terrain-crossing abilities will also be further improved.

Additionally, when Mavuika is riding her Flamestrider and is not in combat; when her Nightsoul points drop to 5, she will gain 80 Nightsoul points. This effect can trigger once every 15s.

Recommended - Top Tier

Mavuika's on-field potential is tremendous, even compared to other premium units she keeps up with the best.

Versatile

As long as you have at least one other Natlan character, you are good to go. This leads to many team comps and ways to utilize her

Mavuika is a very solid unit even at lower constellation levels. Her ability as a main DPS are not to be overlooked. As well as her immense scaling with constellations and her ability to flex as a supportive/sub DPS unit.

She is a top tier on-field DPS Unit, so if you require of a main carry, Mavuika is highly recommended.

Mavuika's support kit, especially at C0, is mediocre at best, so if you need a support, you are better of saving your pulls
for a Unit like Furina, Xilonen or Kazuha.

Overall Mavuika is an amazing Character and you won't regret getting her, calling her a "Must pull", however, would be overblown.

Play to her strengths, and she will greatly improve your account.
