Before you jump in, make sure you have Unreal Engine 4.26 or higher installed on your system. While the kit is fully compatible with Unreal Engine 5, enabling advanced features like Lumen and Nanite may require some extra steps. For more on that, refer to the "Creating an Unreal 5 Project with the Ultimate Space Game Kit" section.
Here's your step-by-step guide to getting up and running with the Ultimate Space Game Kit:

Create New Project: Click "Download" and then create a new project. Feel free to name the project as you see fit.

Spaceship Controls
The Ultimate Space Game Kit comes pre-loaded with intuitive control schemes that make piloting your spaceship a breeze. But don't fret—if you've got different needs or ideas, you'll find these controls are simple to modify and adapt to the gameplay experience you're aiming for.
Here's how the preset controls work out of the box:
Camera Toggle: Press C to switch between first-person (cockpit view) and third-person (external) cameras.
Freelook: Hold Left ALT and use the mouse to swivel the camera freely. Release the Left ALT key to snap back. This is handy for scanning your surroundings and spotting enemy activity.
Pilot with Mouse: The game uses "freelancer style" mouse input. Simply move your mouse, and the ship will follow its direction. Your weapons also aim where your mouse points.
Fire Weapons: Press and hold the Left Mouse Button to let 'er rip.
Special Zoom: Holding down the Right Mouse Button activates a zoom-in feature coupled with a slow-motion effect.
Throttle Control: Use W and S to control your speed. In third-person view, you'll see a throttle indicator on the right UI. In first-person, check your throttle status on the cockpit's flight deck.
Rolling: Use A and D to roll your ship.
Strafe: Q and E let you move horizontally left and right.
Vertical Movement: Press Z to ascend and X to descend.
