Patient Care Technician

Ultimate Medical Academy’s Patient Care Technician diploma program is designed to help you build the skills needed to assist healthcare professionals in providing quality care. Through a blend of on-campus lab sessions and online learning, you’ll study topics such as pathology, body systems, operating diagnostic equipment, and performing EKGs.

This 12-month or more program includes a 180-hour externship, where you’ll gain hands-on experience working in healthcare environments under professional supervision. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to prepare to sit for certification exams, including the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A), and Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exams, if eligible.
