Ulrika Ahrsjö

Hi!

My research is in Labor Economics, with special interests in the juvenile criminal justice system, female health and labor market participation, and economic inequality at large.

I'm a researcher at Uppsala University (starting as tenure-track assistant professor in the fall of 2026) and a postdoctoral fellow at Stockholm School of Economics. In the spring of 2026, I will be a visiting researcher at SOFI (Stockholm University).

I am also PI of Riksbankens jubileumsfond project grant no. P23-0637: Employment or crime? New evidence on how the criminal justice system shapes life trajectories of young people.
