My name is Ulla Karhumäki.
I am a chargée de recherche at the CNRS, working in mathematics. I am based at the Institut Camille Jordan, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, France.
My research focuses on model theory and its interactions with group theory, particularly groups of finite Morley rank, finite-dimensional groups, and pseudo-finite groups.
I am a member of the ANR MAS Model Theory of Algebraic Structures (PI: Frank O. Wagner).
