That is correct. The OS will remain the same (android 12), but it resets all application cache, etc.

So maybe it resolves your issues, that is why I suggested it.

I got Android 12 running without issue on my Google TV, so the reset may also help you.

I came to twitch to watch streams, but he's right it's not worth having an account if you can't hear or understand what anyone is saying without closed captions/ subtitles. But when casting to chromecast/smart tvs there is no way to get them up. ?

I've been racking my brain about this for a few days now and feel like I'm going crazy. My emby setup was working flawlessly previously but for the last few days its been completely unwatchable on my Chromecast (new version with Android TV). Anything I watch constantly stutters/freezes - I've ruled out any sort of internet issues (did all the necessary restarts of modem, router, etc) and have tested the same items on my android phone as well as PC and they play back fine.

I've read that Chromecast has issues with AC3 so within the chromecast I went to advanced audio settings and enabled both AC3 and Dolby Atmos. I've used playback correction to try to force transcode the audio - which seems to help but I still get the freezing/stuttering (albeit less frequently/takes longer for it to start happening).

Set the 160 mb/s on the Chromecast in the Emby App's Playback settings

After testing for a bit more last night it seems like the winning combo was

1) Setting the chromecast advanced audio settings to manual and enabling AC3 as a codec

2) Changing max bitrate in app on chromecast from Auto to 160mbp/s

Both of those things together have resulted in a return to a smooth playback experience across my titles

I'm trying to cast my android to non smart tv with Chromecast but I really can't.I've tried so many apps like Google Home,Miracast,EzMira but Chromecast does'n show up in the Google Home app at all. This is the Screen on Tv that I get link

thanks for your answer. It happens across devices - my and my wife's mobile behaves the same way. However, something had to change as we are able to connect through chromecast to my devices (google nest mini). On the other hand, if Spotify app in mobile is connected, the app does not work 100% correct. In some cases, the sound stoppped to be transferred to the Nest mini, in some cases Spotify does not play another song and goes behind the length of the song. I also noticed that using Windows app does not solve the problem as this app does not show the chromecast devices at all (computer and nest mini are on the same WiFi, of course) - I did not have any problem with this earlier.

Thanks for additional possible solutions. I did all what you suggested already - all firmwares/updates are the most recent ones. I also tried to restart the router. I don't believe that the issue is outside of the Spotify as e.g. Youtube Music works just fine and has no issue with cast the music into the speakers. The same issue I have on my phone occures on my wife's phone (Samsung A52s 5G), on the Windows app (where no speakers are visible except for TV with chromecast build-in), or when I ask Google assistant on speaker to play music on Spotify. ff782bc1db
