Transmission shaft torque requirement test.

A torque wrench was placed on each transmission shaft to determine force required to shift into each gear. We determined, experimentally, that the maximum torque require was 10 in*lbs. With this data, we can now begin to source our linear actuator.

After determining which servo would be best for the application, testing had to be performed. We were testing for accuracy and different wiring scenarios that would work best with the tractor.

This servo requires 12V and 5A in order to power the component. Once power reaches the tamiya connector, it reduces the 12V to 5V so that the servo and controller can run off the same power source.
