REGISTER NOW! - “Ukrainian Days”

The first in-person #SupportUkraine! “Ukrainian Days” advocacy fete since the pandemic will be held on Thursday and Friday, June 9-10, 2022 in Washington, DC.

Sponsored by the Ukrainian National Information Service (UNIS), the Washington, DC public affairs bureau of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA), this advocacy event remains a very important endeavor for the Ukrainian American community especially given the urgent support needed for Ukraine to defend its territory against invading russian forces.

Ukraine is now approaching the 100^th day of the kremlin’s latest invasion. The June 9-10^th advocacy event will be an opportunity to meet in-person once again with Members of Congress and encourage them to support increased security assistance for Ukraine, ensure strong sanctions against russia, and enhance humanitarian programs to aid Ukrainians afflicted by the war.

The “Ukrainian Days” advocacy program will consist of:

• an on-line briefing session (a week prior to the event);

• Thursday morning June 9^th in-person briefing session (location to be determined);

• presentation of the “Friend of UNIS” award on Thursday evening June 9^th (location: Ukraine House); and,

• congressional meetings throughout the day on Thursday and Friday, June 9^th-10^th.
