The first UKNR meeting will be hosted by the School of Mathematical Sciences at Queen Mary, University of London, but will take place in the David Sizer Lecture Theatre of the Bancroft building. It will last two days: Tuesday, September 10th, and Wednesday, September 11th. Please see the Schedule for more information and register on the Registration page.
The workshop aims to connect those in the UK working in Numerical Relativity, allowing us to exchange knowledge and ideas in our specialist area. The format will be a mix of a few longer in-depth talks and a larger number of shorter talks for students and ECRs.
The workshop will start at 11am on 10 September to allow people time to arrive in London from further afield in the morning, and close at 5:30pm on the 11th. Unfortunately we don't have specific funds to support travel and accomodation, but if you are an ECR and are having problems funding your trip then please get in touch and we will see if we can connect you to someone who has funding.
