Getting here

We’re just outside Brighton.

Use the map view to locate the University of Sussex campus. The University has directions to help you get here.

Arriving by train?

The University is located at Falmer, which is a short train journey from Brighton Station or Lewes Station. It takes about 10 minutes from Brighton, and there are four trains per hour.

There is a Southern service from London to Brighton starting at London Victoria. Alternatively, there is a Thameslink service from Cambridge to Brighton that calls at both London St. Pancras International and London Bridge.

Southern services to Lewes go from London Victoria and typically travel to Ore or Eastbourne.

See National Rail Enquiries for timetable information.

Arriving by car?

We'd encourage you to travel by train if you can. But if you want to drive, your best option for parking is probably the Science Car Park. This is car park #1 in square D3 on the University's campus map.

You need to pay to park. Your best option is to contact David Seery in advance to arrange for visitor parking.

Please note there are two Universities at Falmer – the University of Brighton also has a campus here. We're on the opposite side of the road to the Amex Stadium.
