For a Special Issue on Computational Intelligence

Computational intelligence covers all those nature-inspired and linguistic computational methodologies, which are developed to address complex real-world problems that may not be handled effectively using traditional computing methodologies. These methodologies are based on the adaptive learning in order to continuously improve the developed intelligent system and its performance. These methodologies include neural networks, evolutionary computation, swarm intelligence, fuzzy systems, and hybrid systems, which are collectively contributing to the development of computational intelligence.

This special issue focuses (International Journal of General Systems) on emerging techniques, tools and applications of computational intelligence, and welcomes original research and review articles in the aforementioned areas. This special issue seeks to bring educational and research experts working in the area of computational intelligence and related domains to contribute in the advancement of this research area, and address existing challenges with their effective solutions.
