How do I join UK Border Force?
If you would like to apply to join UK Border Force you may do so by creating an application on the official CMG Forums and then you can apply here. You will need to wait until your application has been reviewed by HQ or the Head of Recruitment. You will get a response posted on your application within 24 hours with a message saying either ACCEPTED or DENIED. If your application gets accepted you will be invited to take an interview on the CMG TeamSpeak where we will then ask you various questions in order to determine your understanding of the faction. What would my job be as a Border Force Officer?
Your main responsibilities in this line of work vary on a daily basis. Your main duties include things such as interacting with members of the public attempting to pass through the borders of the city and ensuring they have the correct documentation etc. You will also need to conduct searches on vehicle/people that you deem suspicious as they may be attempting to traffic contraband through our borders. Things such as patrols along the border are also an option to ensure nobody is illegally attempting to cross and you can even look at joining our maritime division - the cutters, if you wish to assist with our sea campaign.
How do I progress within the Border Force?
Within the Border Force, there are a few ways you can progress within the faction. You are able to be promoted to higher ranks within Border Force which can unlock perks such as higher pay-checks, additional trainings such as Glock training, K9 training, Drone training, and more! You can also apply for certain Divisions such as Cutters, Transport and Recruitment!
What is a "Division" and how do I join one?
The definition of a division within Border Force is essentially a "department" within the faction. A division allows you to play a different role within the faction. When reaching the rank of Assistant Immigration Officer+ or higher you may apply to join one of these divisions, such as Transport, Cutters or Recruitment. How do I report a Border Force officer?
To report a prison guard, you need to join the Official CMG Border Force Discord server here, and head over to the #ukbf-complaints-and-hr channel. You need to react to the ticket message and you must provide evidence and a brief description of what the officer did wrong. If you have information about their name and perm ID then you should also include that in the message. If there is no proof of the rule break then we cannot do anything about it.
What is Headquarters?
Headquarters is one of the three levels of command within Border Force. The other two levels are Tactical Command and Operational Command.
They are responsible for the general direction of the Border Force. They are also responsible for bringing in new ideas that may come from suggestions, deciding promotions of deserving members, dealing with reports and punishments, meetings, and overall making sure the Border Force can succeed. They are the final line of call if a member of Tactical Command was unable to sort your issue.
What is Tactical and Operational Command?
Tactical Command are effectively Divisional Command and they manage their respective Division and are also in charge of making sure Operational Command are being responsible and carrying out their command duties. Members of Tactical Command are ranked as either "Chief Immigration Officer" or "HM Inspector" in the UKBF Discord and can be contacted for any issues if Operational Command cant help you.
Operational Command members are there to deal with minor issues and are the first step in the command structure for asking general questions. The rank of Operational Command is "Senior Immigration Officer".
What are my weekly commitments to Border Force?
When you are part of Border Force you do have a minimum hours requirement every week you need to be considered an active member of the faction. You need to have at least 2 Hours every week to be considered active and you have a better chance of receiving a promotion with more hours.
