Please find below some useful tips when it comes to communication between eachother;
Radios
Our main method of communication whilst on duty patrolling and manning the borders would be via our in-game radio communication. These bits of kit are essential when trying to connect with other officers and is most definitely the most preferred method of contact.
These radios are included in your initial kit and understanding how to use them is essential when getting past your basic training prior to sitting your final exam, they may be acquired from the armoury but be weary as these can be stolen from you if not careful.
Once acquired, simply do "/radios" in-game and select Border Force Radios, you will also be able to liaise with other factions such as PD and NHS within the menu but for initially we suggest you stick to the Border Force channel until you are more experienced.
TeamSpeak
Despite radios being our primary method of communication whilst clocked on, you will also be able to jump into the CMG Official TeamSpeak, here you will find the offices of the Borders which are used by Headquarters as well as Tactical and Operational Command.
You will also find some channels for on-duty officers which you are able to join but for immersion we suggest you stick to the in-game radios and ensure if your in-game radio is taken by somebody that you then mute your TeamSpeak to ensure you aren't breaking any of the city rules by still providing officers with information despite being without and radio.
You may find you are summoned to TeamSpeak by command and you may also find out that the weekly meetings and divisional meetings take place here.
How to Communicate
Some key aspects to communicating are as follows (these apply to Radios & TeamSpeak);
Maintain a clear and concise tone when giving information to other officers
Refrain from using language others may find offensive
Do not hog the radio channel with unnecessary chatter
Adjust your voice settings if appropriate
Adjust your key-binds to make it easier for yourself
