• Praise God for preparing all the resources and allowing UKSTM to take place and include each of us to serve Him

• Give thanks to the Birmingham, Coventry, and Liverpool partners and for their open hearts to serve together

• Give thanks for all the grace and blessings we receive in our path and in whatever circumstances that we are in

• As we enter in a busy season of the year, pray that we all remember the reasons we want to serve Him in this mission and grant us strength

• Pray that we will serve humbly and support each other with love in Christ

• Pray that God will instill His peace in us and lift our worries and fears as we continue to prepare for the mission trip and prepare ourselves as well

• Pray that if conflicts arise, we will approach them with a humble and selfless heart that can place others above our own desires

• Pray that we will encourage each other as we see God’s gifts endowed upon us and know that it is not us but Christ in us that enables us to do what we do

• Pray that God will prepare the hearts of those that we will serve and that their hearts be softened to hear the truth and see the light

• Pray that as we reach out to each of the families, they will get to know God, feel God’s love, and see the truth and real meaning for their lives on Earth

[12/26 Friday] London -> Milton Keynes

We will start our STM journey from London on 12/26, where we will first head to the city of Milton Keynes(~55 miles northwest), where Chinese Overseas Christian Mission(COCM) headquarters is located. We will meet with COCM General Director, Rev. Henry Lu & Ling Lu, to understand local evangelistic needs.

[12/27 Saturday] @Birmingham

We will be heading to the city of Birmingham, supporting Birmingham Chinese Gospel Church (Harborne), which is a church planting ministry of COCM. Started in 2023, the church has committed to serving the Cantonese-speaking Chinese community, especially HKers, and holds a Cantonese worship service every Saturday 2:30-4pm.

We will be organizing a gospel event specifically for youth, and will also be teaching in their children's program.

After this, we will split into our two teams and head to our respective cities: Liverpool(~100 miles further northeast) and Coventry(~25 miles east).

[12/28 Sunday] @Liverpool & @Coventry

Both teams will be serving in the Sunday Adult and Junior worship services and their children ministry. Please refer to the respective blog page (Liverpool / Coventry) for more location-specific details!

We will be hosting a full-day VBS program, "Magnified!" over three days, alongside with adult workshops!

Both teams will head back to the city of Milton Keynes before the next day's flight, then reunite and stay at COCM headquarters!

[1/3 Saturday] London -> San Francisco

Our STM trip will conclude with a flight home!
