In collaboration with Theta Xi, had the privilege of hosting Bob Gillingham ‘69, board member of FinMago, for an insightful discussion on investment strategy, stock analysis, and tax-free profit strategies. Bob shared his expertise on navigating the markets and optimizing investment returns while minimizing tax liabilities.
GCA Finance Team analyzed Rivian’s valuation, market trends, and financial outlook, finding it overvalued with projected profitability by 2028, facing supply chain risks, competition, and financial instability.
Tech members conducted in-depth data analysis using statistical modeling, machine learning, and financial visualization to generate key insights and conclusions. This project enhanced analytical skills and reinforced data-driven decision-making in finance.
GCA has successfully leveraged data-driven strategies to boost member engagement and growth. By applying strategic tools like the GE McKinsey Matrix, SWOT analysis, and the Ansoff Growth Matrix, GCA has expanded its active membership and ensured organizational sustainability through optimized resource allocation. These efforts reflect GCA's dedication to data-driven decision-making and long-term success.
GCA members participated in the PWC Case Competition, focusing on improving employee morale and belonging during layoffs. As part of this effort, members utilized SWOT analysis to identify effective initiatives, held daily meetings to collaborate on tasks, and demonstrated leadership in resolving conflicts and motivating the team.
GCA has successfully joined the Quad day, more than 170 students were signed up for info session and interview.
