Booking
All requests for Clinical Simulation Centre (CSC) usage must be submitted through the CSC Booking System.
To secure timely room/area bookings for events, it is essential to submit all requests with a minimum notice.
Please be aware that the CSC cannot ensure the booking of any session/event submitted with less than the required minimum notice, in time for the event.
Minimum notice for booking:
Teaching & Learning - 3 days prior to the session
Course/Seminar/Workshop - 2 months prior to the event
If rooms/areas in the CSC are used without a confirmed booking, there is a possibility that the scheduled session/event could be displaced by a session/event that has been officially booked.
In the interest of fairness to all, booking requests are addressed in the order they are received (on a first-come, first-served basis).
The CSC locations in Sungai Buloh, Selayang, and HASA Puncak Alam are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
If you intend to reserve a session or event for a weekend or public holiday, kindly consult with the designated staff-in-charge.
BOOKING PROCEDURE
A system-generated email notification will be sent upon submission of your booking.
Bookings will be processed within 48 hours of a business day.
After verifying the availability of the requested room/area, a confirmation email will be sent.
If applicable, an invoice will be sent once the booking has been received and reviewed.
To clarify your booking, please contact the staff-in-charge of the respective CSC via email.
For all inquiries, cancellations, or amendments, please direct them to En Faizal for CSC Sungai Buloh and Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah, or to En Mohd Irwan for CSC Selayang.
BOOKING CONDITIONS:
All users of the CSC are required to adhere to the venue's regulations and safety prerequisites.
The CSC cannot be held accountable for any circumstances beyond their control that might lead to the cancellation of the workshop or any related event.
The CSC is not liable if individuals are unable to partake in the workshop due to oversubscription.
The CSC reserves the right to withdraw from the course at any given time.
Participants' personal belongings are not the responsibility of the CSC; any loss or damage is not covered.
TYPES OF BOOKING
Teaching & Learning Booking Form:
For practical sessions, simulation exercises, examinations, or any student-related teaching and learning activities.
Students or lecturers can initiate the request.
Bookings need to be submitted at least 3 days before the session.
Course/Seminar/ Workshop Booking Form.
Applicable for both internal and external events.
The booking should be initiated by the designated liaison person or person-in-charge (PIC) of the event to facilitate streamlined communication.
Bookings need to be submitted at least 2 months before the scheduled event.
Internal Client
Space charges are waived for internal clients participating in educational, academic, or departmental activities.
Internal clients encompass faculty members, staff, and students of Universiti Teknologi MARA.
However, space charges will be applicable to internal clients under specific circumstances: when a registration or event fee is imposed, or when the event is financed by external sources.
External Client
Full rates are applicable to external clients, defined as individuals or groups with no direct link or university affiliation, as well as for-profit organizations.
External clients cannot reserve the space if a formal academic session necessitating the use of the CSC is scheduled for the same time.
Advance payment is mandatory for external clients prior to utilizing the space; otherwise, the booking may be subject to cancellation.
