Dear students, lecturers, staff, alumni and friends...
Praying that all of you are in good health and bestowed with the blessings of Allah. If I could share with you, these days, only one word comes to mind: Gratitude. Not only is gratitude the single most powerful principles for increasing our well-being but I believe I have so much to be grateful for and that begins with all of you.
Thank you so much, my students, for being ever so brave in this time of crisis, for keeping your heads held high and staying strong despite the odds we have to face. Words cannot express how grateful I am for your adaptability and resilience that has been displayed throughout this difficult time, seen through your vigour spirit in continuing your education. Instead of waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel, you have found the light within yourselves to guide your path to a new day. You have opened your hearts, allowing us lecturers to reach you. You hold on to your dreams, not letting even a virus pandemic get in your way, which makes me even prouder to have students like you.
To our team of dedicated lecturers...
I am so grateful to be working with a team of such passionate and compassionate educators, each of whom have gone out of their way to learning something new for the sake of our kids; our students. I am ever so thankful for your ability to open your hearts in accepting the challenges that we are facing now and with the new normals of educating that we must adopt. I truly believe we will grow stronger when we face challenges and from them we will be a more resilient team and come closer together as a family. eLearning@UiTMLaw would not be possible without the hard work put in by all of you and for that, I thank you.
Last but not least, our dearest alumni and friends...
I am so grateful to have you standing by my side on the education frontlines facing the brunt of Covid-19. Thank you for teaching us that even though we are physically apart, your act of kindness and generosity in supporting our students socially, and emotionally, connects us. You truly bring back the sense of unity and family to our UiTMLaw Community.
Stay safe everyone and THANK YOU🌹
Hartini Saripan, Dean of UiTMLaw
