The main function of PTAR UiTM Cawangan Sarawak is to give its full commitment in providing world-class library services, focusing on six key areas to ensure user satisfaction and efficient access to resources. Firstly, PTAR is dedicated to delivering user-friendly services to all its users, making the library experience smooth and accessible. It also ensures that users are kept up-to-date by providing weekly updates on new arrival collections, allowing users to explore the latest resources available. In terms of inter-library loan requests, PTAR commits to responding within three (3) weeks from the date of application, ensuring timely access to materials from other libraries. For Information Skill Classes, PTAR guarantees a response within one (1) working day to support users in developing their research and information literacy skills. Furthermore, PTAR maintains 24/7 uptime and access to its portal and electronic resources, enabling users to retrieve information at any time without disruption. Lastly, the library pledges to provide access to reference archive materials within three (3) working days from the date of application, supporting academic and research needs efficiently. These commitments reflect PTAR’s mission to offer responsive, reliable, and user-centered services.
